So what makes my Ibanez sh*te but not the Cort A4, built in the same factory, probably by the same people, probably with the same materials? Anyway, I bought mine used for much less than the price of a new A4 so value for money isn't an issue

Yep I love mine, this is the last amp I'll ever buy, amazingly lightweight and never needed to turn it past 12'oclock, even at bigger venues. Great tone too, rarely touch the EQ.

I'd love to... but I'd never pay such ridiculous prices for one evening's entertainment. If it was £40 I'd go, but £75 plus booking fees? And I'd have to get the other half one. And then pay for travel to either London or Manchester. Hm, no.

Congrats!! I used to do some promo work for Hassle, back in the days when they were UK distro for Vagrant, they've got some great bands and promote their bands well, so hopefully you'll go far!!

Now that I've finally bought my own house, I have a room purely for my music gear. I put a desk up last night, I've got a MacBook Pro with Garageband and I've got some old SkyTec 30w speakers, nothing special, but do the job. However, I've got nothing to power them. I only want something I can plug a phono lead into, and attach the speaker cable to, has a volume control, and I don't want it taking up much room on the desk. But all I can find online are hi-fi seperates, which are huge and expensive. Anyone know of anything suitable? I don't want to spend much!

Yeah, Performers are about £300 new, Legends about £500.

Yeah I'd say that's a Performer, the Legend has a curved back, like the higher end Spectors. Any idea where it's made? I think the Performers were China, the Legends are Korea.

Serial seems strange, my Legend and my Q4 both have four digit serials. Looks quite flat as well, got any other pics, like from the side?

My first bass was an SR300 Fretless, probably made me a better bassist, because small mistakes were more noticable. I did have some guitar experience prior to that though, so maybe not as a first instrument, but definitely helps with learning.
