1. I sent a bass to Greece a while back, pretty sure I used Interparcel, and it definitely didn't cost anything like that. Think it was about £50.
2.
It's a sandberg. Looks like it was made specially for them - don't speak german, so I could be wrong!
PMT in Birmingham have got one too. Apparently something went wrong with the CNC and they were left with a bunch of necks that were too narrow, so they made these.
3. Hm, it put a double http:// on there for some reason and then won't find it when you remove it. A search for SWR brings it up anyway - ending in 10mins. The tuner isn't on ebay - I've only used it a couple of times and racked it as soon as I got it, but I can provide pics at the weekend (working away at the moment).
4. Sounds like you need a TecAmp S212. Small footprint, big sound. Love mine, and for once I can say - this one's a keeper!!
5. Ends Today!!
6. That is my ideal bass. Unfortunately, it's not at my other half's ideal price. They never are!
7. My Spector neck feels thinner than my Jazz. I use the Spector for my country band and my Jazz for my punk band, but I do think something other than the Spector would suit better, just can't find anything that feels as good.
8. Sorry, sold this one six months ago elsewhere, forgot it was on here to update the post.
9.
Do you ever get out to Oxford?
No, sorry, London occasionally but not over that way. Wouldn't be a problem to post it though.
10. I love the look of that Jet bass, I'm very tempted by the Electromatic version, it'd fit the look of my band so well.
11. Sorry, didn't see this, managed to avoid my laptop for the whole of Christmas! Yes, the tuner is still available. Cab now on ebay: SWR Triad
12. Poor phone photo, but here's my nice light-n-loud rig these days:
13. Only the James Johnstone version I think
14. This looks awesome. If only it wasn't Christmas and I wasn't skint! Here's hoping the future buyer doesn't get on with short scales and decides to sell it in six months when I can afford it!
15. You could always go for this 'Bonsai Jazz'... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1978-FENDER-BONSAI-J...=item1c0e9e70bf
16. Bargain of the year!!
17. That's right. Volume is just cut.
18.
Isn't the Fender Steve Bailey sig bass a 6er? I think it's fretless too.
Very different to a Fender VI though. Always wanted one, and I think it would suit my band really well, but I'd never be able to afford one. May look into those Gretsch Jet Baritones in the new year though.
19. want want want want want damn Christmas... I did a bit of research of these a while back when I was after a Fender VI (but would NEVER be able to afford one), seemed ideal for what I wanted.
20. Got the one with the Biffy download thing (were Biffy on the cover? can't remember). Think that was a November issue?
21. I had the old narrower one, amazing cab, lightweight and crisp, clear sound. Loved it!
22. If it was me, I'd be after a Spector Euro!
23. Another deal done with no problems - quick payment and good communication, cheers Tom!
24. I've had two Legends and a Q4, wish I'd never have sold the first one as it was perfect, but I was only thrashing punk out on Fenders at the time so it never got played. My current Legend's neck isn't 100% smooth on the back, but in terms of playability, comfort and tone, Spectors are the best basses I've ever played. I'm gassing for a Euro.
25. Last bump for the cab!
