Hello all, here we have my Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass. Selling it reluctantly but its gotta go. Had this bass about a year as a back up bass and its awesome. Comes with humbucking pickups which for cheap stock Fender pickups sound pretty damn good. I have installed a series/parallel switch as i do with most of my passive basses just to give it that little extra. There are a few wear marks to the body, pick playing marks over the pickups, some small chips to the headstock, allan key holder on the rear of the headstock. Other than those its pretty tidy. Plays well, has rotosound psd strings. Decent bridge with brass saddles, gloss neck, gloss body not satin like the new models. Alder body which has a medium weight to it, jumbo frets, std 34" scale, passive electronics with vol/vol/tone s/p switch. Played one of these today through an Eden WTB-700 at work and while is has a lovely profile neck i found it to be lacking somewhat in the high frequencies. I had to really tweak the eq to get the kind of tone i wanted. Plenty of bass as you'd expect from a short scale and boy does it look cool. Also close up the stripe was abit rough around the edges but hey, who gonna see that while your rocking out? Lovely bass to play not my thing though.

[size=3]For sale is a used Ashdown Mag 410T DEEP (previous model) this cab is around 3 years old but [b][u]still works[/u][/b] and sounds great. The cab has seen better days, unfortunately the carpet lining is coming away from the wood and has a few holes but this can be fixed with some glue and a good staple gun. Selling due to upgrade. It would be pointless to ship this item as shipping fee would probably cost as much as i want for it so collection only, based in Telford, Shropshire. [size=6]sold[/size] [/size]

just thought id share my amazement with everyone. today i tryed one these basses in question and WOW! Having previously owned a musicman i thought id give these new cheap options a go, cant remember what amp i tryed it through in the shop tho. Ill cut to the chase, these basses are amazing for the price. I was told their musicman parts but made in indonesia or somewhere, it had that huge musicman tone/click to it and it felt like the real deal too. Have ernie ball shot them selfs in the foot here cus the only difference i could find between the two was the little motifs on the headstock and the 'made in indonesia' on the back. Oh and the fact thats its HALF the price than the big boy. Safe to say i was flabbergasted, well done ernie ball these are miles better than OLP. anyone else got any thoughts?

best thing to do is experiment, i allways found id get more flexibility out of using the fx loop but thats just my opinion
