  1. You probably need to ask this in the Bass gear section of the Forum, I expect a Mod will be along soon to advise…..
  2. Just bought a Fender P bridge cover from him. Easy peasy purchase, recommended.
  3. I'm a big fan of the VT Bass stuff and have used most of the various models. I've not tried the VT bass 500. but I'm sure its great. The Warwick LWA 1000 I reviewed for BGM. Paired with the Warwick cabs It is very warm and very clean. I would agree with the previous post - it is quite Markbassish. Here's what I wrote: http://www.bassguitarmagazine.com/tests/warwick-lwa-1000/
  4. I'm ashamed to say that whilst waiting to go on at a Holiday park gig somewhere I noticed some graffiti on the dressing room wall. The title was "Fat Tributes". Many of the ones mentioned in this thread were on the list. I sat there with a Sharpie for over an hour before adding: Bingo Wings Of Leon Not sure it was worth the wait! - I've a pic somewhere……..Found It: [attachment=203772:IMG_2007.jpg]
  5. I've had an ME-8B (big brother to the ME-6B) since it was released in the 90's. It was my first multi fx and therefore it now seems like I was born knowing how to operate it. Assuming its the same, you can run it in either patch mode - setup a patch with combinations of effects together. Or in manual mode - you can use each footswitch to switch each effect on and off like having a few separate effects pedals. I still think to this day the ME-8B has some of the best synth and filter sounds going, and I believe the 6B has a more detailed synth section. The 8B also has the OC-2 oct down circuit. As for patches I would say keep it simple - just a couple of effects at a time. Once you start combining more than that you end up with things that sound like the preset patches. - not so useable IMHO. Good luck!
  6. [quote name='wal4string' timestamp='1445201887' post='2889620'] With Chris Evans In mind I have just transcribed Reefs - Place Your Hands (It's Your Letters) unfortunately I have no more space on BC to post, if anyone would like a copy I will email with the understanding you post on here for all to see. 7. I'm posting this on behalf of wal4string: [attachment=203072:Place Your Hands.pdf]
  8. Heh, it didn't take too long. No problem, hope you enjoy playing it. I did.
  9. Hey Simon, Here you go, a quick transcription of the above. I'm not sure it's 100%, but it's close. Enjoy! Dust Springfield - Ain't No Sun (Since You've Been Gone) - Bass Guitar.pdf
  10. To the above Cool tune, I'll see if I can get it down for you.
  11. I'm feeling like a new one is on the cards. I love a bit of Pino so here you go - Paul Young's version of Everytime You Go Away: Paul Young - Everytime You Go Away.pdf The challenge here is to see if anyone can nail the Bdim run.
  12. On the plus side I do have a 70's Magnavox V4B, but it doesn't stop me wanting this too.
  13. Nice! wish I was in a position to buy this. Someone will be very happy.
  14. Bought a Spector legend bass from Steve. The deal was a delight throughout. Steve couldn't have been more helpful and he even knocked a tenner off the bass when I went to pick it up. As the others above have said, top bloke, highly recommended.
  15. No problem, if you enjoy playing it half as much as I do then I'm happy just to have passed it on, although really we should be thanking Mr Graham (and Marlowe DK for demystifying it). That said, my lawn could do with a mow .
  16. oops, I should have spotted the video. I make it this (change file extension to .pdf to view): [attachment=200806:Hair.pdf]
  17. Nice one Ben, great website too. Chris
  18. Watch this: https://youtu.be/7EwonPfOlwE It tells you all you need to know.
  19. You can't use edit and share with an MS-60b, the USB connection is only for firmware updates. The only way too transfer patches from your B3 is the painstakinly copy them manually. Not sure about firmware - check the Zoom website.
  20. Long shot - Still available?
  21. +1 to the above. We've been using this desk for years and we paid a lot of money for it. The four separate monitor mixes enables us to all use IEM's with independent mixes. At this price I'm almost tempted to buy this as a backup. GLWTS
  22. Bought an MXR M81 Preamp pedal from Harry. Very easy purchase and he even timed it to be delivered just as I was walking out the door to my gig. Highly recommended.
  23. Just picked one of these up myself recently. Cracking bass - would give any Fender a serious run for its money. GLWTS
