    It's not mega thick but iscomfortable. The thickness of the leather and padding allow the strap to spread the pressure over the shoulder rather than in one place. PM me if interested in the strap.

    Hi Dan, when I changed from roundwounds to flats I took my bass to S &J Music in Lichfield and they seem to have done a good job. Pop in and talk to Steve (the owner) about what you are looking to have done.

    I use standard Fusion gig bags which are really good so would assume that the Urban is a fair step up. I have also been impressed with the TGI Extreme for the money but you would need to check sizing.
