1. That looks good H. I'm guessing you needed to delete some old pics.
2. Nice one GW. that is one handsome Jazz.
3. Looking good Ped. You are a fine model sir.
4. A few more pics would be great.
5. So is your Dad a bass man or just a Dad with very good eye for nice instruments?
6. Hi Bob. I told her about the monitor, she said she would discuss with band mates and get back to me. I'll let you know if there is any interest, meanwhile if you get any offers then grab them
7. If I could afford it, I would certainly be interested. There's a bass with some gigs under it's belt. Good luck with the sale. Might be worth doing a few more pics of the internal gubbins and so on.
8. That decal doesn't loook right does it? Think I would avoid. There will be some more knowledgable BC'eers along soon I should think.
9. Have you tried http://www.bassesbyleo.com/forum/index.php
10. Very nice. Good of your Dad to gift you the JayDee, what a splendid pressie.
11. Morning Bob. My daughter was saying to me the other day that her band need a decent monitor. I'll see her later today and mention that you have one for sale. Don't hole your breath though as I know they are a bit strapped for cash at the mo. I will get back to you if they express any interest.
12. I really really like that, I knew that it was a bad idea for me to click on the link.
13.
Being pedantic about things (Me? Pedantic? Noooo. )-if you count it like that you will get a bar of 13/8 instead of 7/4, unless you are counting '7' as two syllables (sev-en,counted as two quavers). Otherwise the correct count would be 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+
Thanks Doddy, I obviously can't count and type You are of course correct, and if you hadn't pointed it out, it would probably have caused more confusion for Phil.
14. Good to hear that you are so happy with it and no quality control issues. Nicely reviewed and fine set of pics. Will look forward to seeing pics of the incoming Jazz. Might have to try your tip about combining the string through option and standard type for the other two strings.
15. same here, but not for the bridge
16.
the only thing I've struggled with is the little bit of 7/4 in 'Times Like These'. I recently had to learn this for an audition, at first those sections were tripping me up until I started counting it "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7". As soon as I did then the chord changes were spot on and it all became easy.
17.
Thought I'd share my P bass.....it's a Squier but I love it....especially now I've put flats on it. Angie
That looks rather splendid Angie. I'm a very recent convert to flats, can't believed it's taken me since 1973 to try them no point rushing these things.
18. Looks like a cracker John. A few more pics wouldn't go amiss though.
19. It just feels so good when you get decluttered doesn't it? Must get my garage cleared out.
20. That sounds very nasty, I wish you and your finger well matey. A few years back I had a serious altercation with a stanley knife that I was wielding, couldn't play for a quite a while. Like you say it's horrible when you can't play.
21. Best four minutes ever. Now I too could be a u tube star.
22. Really like that Molan, you just can't beat the real road worn look.
23. John is a fine chap to deal with, highly recommended. They are a handsome pair, good luck with the sale. Will look forward to seeing pics of the upcoming purchase.
24. If it's over 10lbs I wouldn't gig with it these days.
