7.
Thanks Gary, it's a fine bass, i think the 3-tone sunburst/maple neck/gold anodized guard, is one of the best looking, era-defining combo's Fender put out. Rick.
Yep, no argument from me
8. Watched it when I got in from rehearsing last night. Really enjoyed, think I will have to dig out some of my Simon & Garfunkel albums and give them a whirl again.
9. another lovely looker Rick, good luck with the sale.
10.
Free Live - Andy Fraser at his best and one of the best albums of all time. Go and learn it note for note - now! You'll be a better player for it.
Got to agree that is a cracker. Generally not mad on live albums but I do still thoroughly enjoy and regularly play Humble Pie, Rockin' the Filmore.
11. They can be a bit stubborn but will some patience and gentle asssistance with a small screwdriver worked around the edge, you should be ok
12. Looking good. Nice job. Glad to see that you persevered with your project.
13. A weekend bump
14. and a weekend bump
15.
Never while playing. Have snapped one when changing strings at home by absent-mindedly turning tuner in wrong direction until string snapped! What a stupid git.
Same here and I felt such a twat, even though I was the only one to witness it.
16. Yes, I experienced the same thing, although can't recall if it was the same note, at a depp gig back in the summer, playing on a wooden band stand. it was a sscarey moment
17. I thought you two had only just been reunited, were deeply in love and would be together for the rest of eternity. Good luck with the sale, it's a lovely looker
18. I suspect that your diagnosis is correct, I'm sure that was the same problem I had with the jazz bass that I had a few years back. Rectified fairly easily, if you can solder or have a friend who can. Sorry don't know any guitar techs in your neck of the woods, but I'm sure someone will be along soon, who does.
19. Truly lovely looking vintage loveliness there Rick. I'm sure you won't have any problem selling that on. There is obviously not the same love for vintage amps/cabs as there is for instruments, seeing that your post has been here for well over twelve hours and I'm the first to post.
20. Get some pics up then........go on go on go on
21. So sorry Darren. Given the level of customer service that I received in my dealings with you and Chris and I know other Bass Chatters also received, your business deserves to survive and prosper.
22. Handsome beast, nice one Nick. Agree with you about the pick guard and agree with WOT about the case, they belong together. Hope you enjoy your time together.
23. A BC'er told me that he wanted this amp but has maybe decided against it and not let me know. If you are that man and reading this and still want it, then let me know and I will mark it as, On Hold. Meanwhile it is still available.
24. another bump to the top
