1.
Has TC got some new cabs then? - I was looking at that tatty old Ampeg and thought he would be able to afford a nice new class D amp by now I thought we would be discussing the anti heft brigade......

Oi, what you doing around these parts, get off to the shop.
Could I be a pain and ask you to get some pringles as well please Oh, and a Cornetto.
 2.
Fab! As it happens, the postman has just been here too. And left me one of these... What a beast... I'll use it on Saturday night.
Another fully detailed report on this please Wot.
 3.
My only 'negative' comment is that as the shop has got so popular, Mark has employed staff to allow him to cope with the demand (and deal with the mundane stuff like packaging sold items or restringing instruments). I've known Mark for nearly 10 years, and we have a friendly relationship - when I walk in there with the new guys (some recognize me but not by name) I don't feel I have the same rapport with them and to them, I am just 'another customer'.
Thats how I felt last time I went there, Mark was as awesome and friendly as ever. The other chap, quite offish.
 4.
Well the Custom Shop pickup is in the SH Precision and first impressions are that it certainly does have a little more bite and tonal range than the SPB1 that was fitted previously. I'll reserve judgement until I've tried it at gig volumes on Friday night but so far, I'm impressed :-)
Good stuff, will wait to hear your thoughts.
 5.
When my band used to be 5 piece (Vox, 2x guitars, drums, bass) I could never, try as I might, explain to the pot basher that he should set up right of centre so that the 2 of us on the left had room to breathe. Every friggin' gig we'd get there and he'd assembled his huge kit dead centre. Like talking to a cabbage.
Very true words. Exactly the same problem here.
 6. Used mine at rehearsal last night, this was after recently buying and having a chat over a coffee, with its previous owner Horace Panter. This might not seem a big deal to some, but to me (as a bass player in a Ska band) it was one of the highlights of my life Im a die hard Precision bass player, but the JC just might turn into my number 1 Ska Machine.
 7.
P.s. Buy the cab!
This.
 8.
Totally cracking!
Absolutely cracking, totally cracking post
 9.
3 great UK made products
Really nice rig
 10. Ooh, nice one, would be really interested in hearing your thoughts how it works with the Glock, got me eyes on one of those.
 11.
i may be wrong but dont the Hexavalve's only run at 4 or 2 ohms? If thats right you wont be able to use your 8 ohm cab without destroying the amp
Yep, this is correct, mine runs at either 2/4 ohm. If I remember rightly my Old Quatra Valve was 4/8 ohm. As were the Twin Valves.
 12. Another Dubster user here or sometimes a Fearless F115 will make an appearance. But I have recently been getting some quite pleasing results using 2 Super Compacts. Does this mean I'm dirty

 17.
One of the daftest things I ever did - back in the days before kids when I had a few quid rattling around my pockets - was buy a brand-new MESA M-Pulse 600.
I was feeling rather 'saucy' once and did a similar thing, i bought an M9 Carbine when they were first released, horribly expensive, it blew up!! So did the replacement. So did the replacements replacement. I did hear that it was a known fault and the amps were recalled for a fix, after a while, but it did put me off of them for a bit. A really great sounding amp though and this new micro offering does interest me.
 18. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cruztools-Bass-Player-Tech-Kit/dp/B00134T67K Always handy to keep in the gig bag.
 19.
It's a B100r Rocket Combo. I used to own it. They sound fantastic.
Here is my one, they really are cracking little combos.
