2. Damn, this comes up just after i've bought a new exhaust for my bike. Gorgeous bass.
3. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/296448-stringbusters-reliabilitycustomer-service/page__st__30__p__3314154__hl__stringbusters__fromsearch__1#entry3314154 There is a thread here that might shed some light
4.
Slightly odd relic'ing, never seen an actual vintage with that kind of wear......but other than that, looks cool! Si
Agreed. Very strange relic'ing
5. I don't actually think i have heard the whole album, but I've just got myself a turntable and Im thinking it might be my first purchase for it.
6.
I'm playing there tomorrow night! They have a pa of sorts. It's rudimentary but adequate for the size of gig. Odd room in some ways but a good atmosphere - very little room to set up in though! Parking is a huge nightmare.
Yup, The 'Hive is dinky.

I'm going over to beardchat.co.uk to challenge Gillette on this ridiculous statement.

I think the Potato diagram is the bestest.
11. Looks peachy. Think Im going to have to try one of those out one day. Kudos to the shop assistant for doing that though.
12.
I'd say that the Four Stroke also has a certain niche appeal - does a great JJ-sounding growl - except the EQ is much stronger than the Terror Bass, so should make "that tone" a little more usable to some maybe. Its an interesting approach adding the grunt from the compressor not the gain.
This amp is really starting to interest me.
13. I've had the same issues with my TB1000, but this was using the DI going through one particular venues PA, first time was at an outdoor festival, I put this down to maybe the generators powering the PA, but then had the same problem inside the venue a few weeks back, same PA system. Not had a problem anywhere else. It puts that little bit of doubt in your mind though, shame because the core tone is perfect.
14. Looks interesting, waaay too many knobs for me though. http://www.markbass.it/product-detail/markbass-evo1/
15.
There are a couple of hits on Google for the NYXL55110 heavy gauge. We've only very recently released them in the UK, it takes a little while for them to filter out. If there are ever any products we make that you struggle to find in the market please ask your local retailer to stock them. We do our very best to make it very easy for retailers to place special orders with us.
Cheers for that, I've actually just checked Stringbusters and they are listed on there now.
16. Tried a medium set out at last nights gig and I'm very impressed. Nice throaty, almost woody sound when played with a pick, which worked great for the punk tunes but then finger-style for the reggae produced a nice big fat sound with plenty of definition. But I can't seem to find anywhere that stocks the heavy gauge. Anyone help?
17. If they are not in stock I'm sure Mark can get one in a bit sharpish. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Hipshot,_Xtenders.html
18. Congratulations, that looks stunning.
