1. There's a geddy neck for sale on here too bump
2. The COG effects stuff is getting some excellent reviews on here at the moment, in particular the Knightfall http://www.cogeffects.co.uk/knightfall.php... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/222837-cog-effects-knightfall-well-done-mrtom/page__fromsearch__1
3.
It's not the "how much", it's the way it does it. There's just so much more ... erm... information in every note you play. It's like the old days of watching 425-line US television on holiday on the States, then coming back to 625-line UK tele over here. You're watching the same programmes, and they look exactly the same, only so much better.
now I really want to try one!
4.
...although from some angles, the 'B' won't be visible...
it is a risk that's for sure
5. needs to say BassHat on it though yes?
6. that's an amazing price!
7. v pleased for you matey! I'm very interested in one of these, maybe the 66 though...
8. We know the far east is well capable of making basses that look very much like a rick don't we
9.
I would too. Why aren't they available?! They would be so cooooool (and warm). This is outrageous!!! Who THE HELL runs the merch-...oh...*cough*. We'll look into it. It's probably about time we had another round of orders.
10. yes you can matey, check out the vids of billy on youtube talking through the features of it...there's a clean loop and a dirty loop and you can put whatever you like in them
11. a bc beanie would be most welcome for bonce warming! I would also rather like a bc stetson for summer-keepy-sun-offy-head duties...
12.
I was trying so hard to resist it, did you have to post that & convince me?!? PM'd
13. This is a mega bargain for a £140 combo!!
14.
Whereabouts are you?
It says Leicester under his avatar, obviously this is invisible on the mobile version Great amps these!
15. The Matamp fanboys will be along soon enough and for good reason matey. I've no idea how much a valve bass amp kicks out but I really want to try one sometime!
16.
The ACG 4-string Graft basses have a 3 over 1 tuner configuration: http://www.acguitars...d-graft-basses/ just click on the images for more pics of each beastie. As to any advantages over 2+2 or 4 in-line I'm not so sure. The ACG headstock is nice and compact so helps with the balance - infact it's very similar in size to the ACG 2+2. It does look a bit different too so I guess that might be a good or bad thing depending on which band you are in / auditioning for
yep, ACG as ead said I wonder if it might be related to reducing neck dive as the headstock is slightly shorter and therefore has a reduced lever arm / 'moment'?
17. a bit of dirt will make each note sound a bit bigger?
18. free bump for a lovely looking bass at a superb price from a gentlemanly bc'er
19.
Thanks for your help on that one very much appreciated.
No prob matey
20. The new acg uber has xlr out and is mega nice!
21.
MXR compressor now sold.
Woohoo! Now I don't have to justify buying a second one
22.
I'm a bit cack handed but might be worth a try ... would the existing pickups work ok with a standard passive circuit?
If you drop kiogon a pm (on here) and explain what you've got and what you're after, he makes wiring looms that are dead easy to install (no soldering!) and he might be able to advise on whether the pups will work ok in passive (I imagine they will as they'll just be standard fender fare)
23. why not rip the guts out of it and wire it as a passive v/v/t if you're after a passive jazz? especially as you mention the vol knob being non-functional...
24. andydye

Sold!!!

I love the look of a jazz not sure why I've never got on with the sound as I like the sound when other folks play them
