    Depends on song, it helps if you cut it into chunks and excercise it until your fingers 'do the thinking' and then move on. Some songs I just need to listen to, it took me ages to pick up all the particulars of some Metallica or Mastodon songs. Average probably 20-30 minutes.

    Up for grabs is my trusted Gigrig Quartermaster 6. Best compact loop switcher on the market, by a long way. This one is about 3 years old and I am only letting it go as I have bought an upgraded version. It is in used, but very decent nick. You will not be disappointed! Price includes shipping within Western-Europe. Pics on request.

    I believe I may have owned this bass a few years back, it ended up in France, maybe it is the same spec as the one I sold. Regretted selling it for a long time, truly excellent bass. GLWTS!     Strings are quite complex, always a chance that the core and wrap wires are not perfect...... It happens. Every 10 sets or so I encounter the same.
