1. I wouldn't want to split something so delightful, unique and rare, to be honest. I also think the price is on the button. Cheers Geoff
2.
They just don't make tort like this any more...
Yep gotta agree there. That is tort porn.
3. Gosh. Just think how many stories that could tell. Just fabulous. Checking down back of sofa for loose change... Cheers Geoff
4. Now that is a very nice looking piece. So I'm clear, it's totally passive and the battery box can be used to store picks and ear plugs etc? Cheers Geoff PS where are you?
5. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I'm waaay down south.... But GLWTS.
6. Looks nice. Couple of questions for you... I'm on mobile so cannot see too well how deep the scratches are. Do they go through the paint and into the wood? Also, where are you based? How do you find the neck? I've heard they are quite Jazz-like dimensionally, is this the case. Cheers Geoff
7. Hi, looks nice. Sorry can't see on mobile, but where are you based? Cheers Geoff

9. What is this 'pick' thing of which you speak?
10. My favourite Vintage bass is the V4. Oh.
11. Look out for a class H amplifier. The H stands for Heft, of course. Much like the D in class D stands for 'Digital'. Ahem.
12.
I used to keep half a Norton Commando under a tablecloth as our landlord didn't allow such things.
I just have to ask... Where did you keep the other half?
13.
Too heavy for me! I've gone too far down the road of light cabs and consequently can't carry anything that weighs more than 16kg.
Does the new badge tip it over the edge weight wise?
14. Do you think that frayed cloth is gonna affect your recording tone if you don't remove the grille? I'm a frayed knot. Ahem.
15.
Me too.... Here is my FMC 1156 NEO EX. 300W/8Ohm, 99db, 17Kg. 15" +6". The 6" is fully adjustable and switchable. "EX" means, the 6" has an extended Frequency range and goes up to 10KHz. I didn't wanted a Tweeter
Oh I do like that very much.
16.
Barefaced retro two 10 works well.
Ooooh, I say...mmmmmmm.....
17. Well done. Things like this just add to experience and confidence - the latter probably being the most important. Quite soon you will suddenly realise you are not as far out of your comfort zone as you think you are. Cheers Geoff
18.
If only i could do a Kenneth Williams impersonation. I can only muster ' ooer matron '
Lol
19.
Delivery in time for Christmas then.
But it will at least fit down the chimney.
20. We need a naming competition for this. I'm gonna stay obvious with the... "Passinwind BassChat 500" Assuming that's the power output, of course.
21. If I remember correctly the two ax valves are in the preamp, the au is the phase splitter. Geoff
22.
Here you go: Not only plays like butter but it's also a Precision. Case closed! Edit: [s]no pic... i'll take care of that[/s] done!
I can't believe its not better.
23. Playability. Faff around with gadgets ro get the tone if necessary, they can't sort the playability.
