1.
And we got a good round of applause. A Coltrane number!
maybe try thewm next time with some jazz arrangements of some classic Cardiacs tunes
 2.
+2. We've come a long way with bass gear for it to sound that bad. It sounded a bit better when he switched to finger style.
bass sounds dreadful - i am nearby he could have borrowed my squire J and a trace boxer practice amp would have sounded much better than whatever it is he is playing through sounds like theyve mixed in ambient studio sound too much for that big echoey concrete shoebox effect edit - just been skipping through the episode - just how turgid is that slow duran song!!!
 3.
Mmm.... not sure about that, Steve - she's quite savvy. As I currently leave the house with my Compact in one hand and my LM3 tucked under my arm, the sight of me sweating (swearing?) my way out of the house with and SVT would not go unnoticed! She really wouldn't mind if I bought one, but although she doesn't mind at all about having bass guitars or even my DB (which I haven't even really started with yet) or my spare Ampeg B200r dottted around the house but I think the fridge stuck in the sitting room might be a bridge too far. The previously mentioned Cortina estate however........now there's an idea!
disguise the cabs as a coffee table with cunning use of smoked glass and fancy trinkets edit - and perhaps leave a suitably distracting coffee table book on the aforementioned cunningly disguised coffee table
 4. could always go for two 4x10s and store them in different locations and if challenged by SWMBO you could claim there is only one - as for the head, SWMBO will not know what is inside the hard rack case unless she takes the cover lid off ....
 5.
Listening to a bit of Joes Garage today I couldn't agree more. I'd also nominate Chad wackerman and Scott Thunes
and fowler/thompson/underwood oh and ohearn/bozzio

 12. PM sending
 13. its not necessairly about equipment though - sometimes i hear notes that ive not noticed before under odd circumstances like when the volume is down really low tabs and score sheets are fine for a bit of basic guidance but dont necessarily treat them as the ultimate rendition of a certain song as they are usually one persons interpretation - i have seen many bass tabs that are quite slapdash in terms of their accuracy
 14. if you want modern sounding and powerful try wizard hammers (or their new hotrod equivalents) - massive passive output no need for active onboard
 15. careful what you wish for you could live in a creative shithole like Medway
 16. twee momnets such as carry on up the vicarage can be forgiven when considering such gems as racing in a and can-utility and the coastliners
 17. fickleness and randonimity - any one of four (plus the fretless if i need it for something specific)
 18. does this mena you got silver knobs? or black knobs but not both or no knobs?

 20.
Why, oh why, did the mullet ever go out of fashion? I think it's a great look.
never mind the mullet - the flame two-piece is slightly more alarming

 24. I actually feel quite sorry for him. He is being used by the industry SyCo types and will no doubt eventually be abused by them too. I also doubt highly, that unlike somebody like say Jon Anderson, he won't be able to sing in that range or register in the latter stages of his career As for the tune, it sounds of the calibre that Rihanna ought to have written the lyrics
