We often get requests, but we keep playing anyway. One time a girl shouted in my ear mid song asking if we knew any One Direction songs. We're a blues band. I told her to ask the singer. She shouted "which one is the singer?". I told the band about it in our break and the singer said she'd shouted in his ear mid-song "are you the singer"! They're special in Knaresborough.

In the last couple of weeks I've seen Flipper and Yo La Tenga, both at the Brudenell in Leeds. I'm not that familiar with either of them. Both were excellent. Great to see Watt plying his trade again.

I've used Copydex glue for tolex in my own builds and have never had a problem.

@peteb a mate of mine in Harrogate has one. He is a member on here but I can't remember his basschat handle. I'm sure he'd be willing to let you hear his. (I hope I'm remembering correctly that you're in Yorkshire). Let me know if interested and I'll put you in touch.

Otley, not outlet!!

The Crown in Yeadon is a nice small Yorkshire pub. There's a few others but I don't know them well. The White Swan is ok I think. Otley is a short taxi ride away and there's lots of good pubs there, the Junction being particularly good.

Try not to laugh out loud. I speak from experience. Which is ironic as most of my own auditions for bands have been pretty dreadful.

Under My Thumb is much more offensive than Brown Sugar. Wasn't Rumble (an instrumental) banned too?

His music for the soundtrack to The Childhood of a Leader is amazing and quite disturbing. It totally absorbs you into the film from the very first frame of the opening credits.
