I wonder what they would do?[/quote] I find that I have everything pretty much flat (12o'clock) on my markbass combo and boosting the Low mid a little really cuts through. Haven't found much use for the high mid knob yet though

There are loads off us in Essex, Welcome.

I use fingers mostly but when I use a pick I like 1mm tortex. Best ones were some that I bought at a music show once which had a star shaped hole in the middle. Brilliant grip in sweaty fingers. If anyone knows a source for these let me know as i don't have any left.

As he's a member here I wouldn't feel comfortable copying the tab (and presumably infringing his copyright?) for you but its basically a run of notes over an A7 scale then an octave thingy over Em7 and D9. +1 for Marlowe DK too but buy the book! I use Musicguard as they also include Public liability insuarance. Do Endsleigh, Allianz or any others? I need to renew my policy, currently £69 for £2k of gear and 1 million Public Liability which seems reasonable.

Nice idea but I was born in 1962 so it'd probably have to be a Jap reissue for me. That looks very nice but the metal work looks very new

I have a guitar and bass tab for this from Gui***ist magazine from a way back. There are about 12 pages of it though! Do you have access to a fax machine I could send you the key pages. I think that they probably are. I was in the process of trying to get together with them and have had to pull out. You should get in touch they are really nice guys playing a very interesting range of material. I'm just sorry that I couldn't commit to another band at this time. Mike

I fitted schaller straplocks to mine as I had them anyway and don't trust that double hole in the leather bit. Had them a couple of years no problems yet

However in my band it has taken on the status of Smoke on The Water or Purple Haze being played badly in a music shop. I turn everything up and use it to shut up the Guitard's or keyboredist noodling at rehearsals between songs.
