1. It's a little more than just a decal and a bridge. Tell me to stfu if I'm wrong but ain't the Squiers plywood bodied? I'm not implying that it is a bad thing just significantly different.
2. As new in box and supplied with the optional FS3X. Priced to go folks -> £150 + P&P. Scary hairdo demo...
3. Something special has come up which has prompted me to finally pass this wonderful cab on. Here's the blurb from SHX. It is the 4ohm, carpeted version and unlike the one pictured on the SHX site this one has the Jorg signed drivers. Comes with a genuine padded Schroeder cover - 60x62x42cm with the cover on. In a nutshell, this cab is very loud with a very open dynamic range, the crisp sounding tweeter is highly tunable from extreme prominence down to nowt and as a whole this cab provides that all important punch that lets you slice through in the best and worst of conditions. It's in mint condish bar some holes underneath where casters were tried out. The cab is nearly 2 years old so rest assured she was built well in advance of Schroeder's recent QC issues. Here she is under Dave Perry's rig at the recent Moffat bass bash (pic courtesy of GreeneKing) £550 + delivery
4.

I also don't get having more than four strings. The lower B just gives you five extra notes that most people never have a need for at the expense of a reasonable-sized neck
You miss the point. It doesn't give you just the lower notes. As just one example, it gives you access to notes (granted you may have them elsewhere on the neck) further up the neck... this means you can play in different positions with less movement.
+1 When I got mine, it didn't take long before it dawned on me that what you get is a extra half a neck not just 5 notes. edit : Oh yeah, my vote for most overrated bit of bass kit -> VT bass.

6. It was in my watch list. Did this really go for 350 Graham?
7. It would be interesting to see more pics. If it is genuine, the seller should have no problems letting the BC squad loose on it. The pg seems to be excessively oxidized - if that is indeed what it is.
8. Bid with confidence mate.
Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.
9. Got yourself a bit of a bargain there W.
10. That sure does look like a 'ray Apart from the decal, the embossing and the tuners I'm struggling to see any difference.
11. He's having a giraffe.
12.
Tthe ferrules on the back of the P are flush and glued in - they're just dropped in on the Tele and held in by the ball end of the string. Apart from that, not much..
Makes you wonder why they relabelled it.
13. Oooh if only it had a maple fretboad.
14. Gods trousers! How much? What's the diff between this and a '51 P? .... apart from the decal and a few more holes in the p/g Come to think of it, some of my guitars have "been in a video or two" too.... none that have been on the telly like.
15.
an amateur practices until they get it right, a professional practices until they don't get it wrong
I've not heard that saying before. It's bloody brilliant! Part of the reason I just quit my long standing originals band was (IMHO) the lack of professionalism. Regarding practicing, I would turn up to rehearsals knowing the tunes and hopefully use the time to get it tight with the band. Others would turn up hoping to use the time to learn the songs. Cue many boring, protracted, stop start rehearsals for me. This is probably why we only managed to write 4 or 5 songs in a year.
16. I remember that Hartke P in it's original host sounding pretty good. Easily worth Matt's asking price here.
17.
Christ I hope he is ok. My old man fell ill about 8 weeks ago. He was 69 and generally indestructable. He died 3 weeks ago tonight and I am still completely numb and in shock. I haven't really been here or anywhere else for the last three weeks. My band has been using a dep as I don't want to leave my wife or 3 kids alone for 1 minute. Im going to try and push on but I really loved the old bastard. Im 41 next week and 3 weeks later can end up in tears at the drop of a hat. sh*t ....
That's really sad man. Try to keep positive. I wouldn't imagine your dad would want you feel like this.
18. What cover does your 104HF have? I'm looking for one for mine.
19. I wish the Foos had played less obvious songs, Sting hawked his xmas CD (interesting ethnic vocal) and that J-zed chappy really can't sing! I enjoyed that Mung-bean lad. was puzzled how he kept the guitar so steady - I couldn't see a stand but it look too solid to just be resting on his legs.
20. I'm watching the thing on Peter Green on beeb4 now
21. No one going for a last minute snipe?
22. Taylor's teeth are really white!
23. Just started on beeb2
