1. Alright mate how's it going. I'm the guy who bought this from you on ebay. I figured it would be easier to chat here than through ebay. Massive props for posting it out so quickly btw. Right, A channel works like a dream but I'm having problems with the B channel. It's like there's almost no grit on this supposedly dirty channel at all. The eq wokrs fine on this side but the gain control is just a volume which only starts to quietly break up at 100% clockwise. Also when in hot fusion mode you can only here channel A as you fade it into the nothingness coming from channel B. Am I doing something wrong?
2. That bit of heartwood running from the lower horn to the control cavity is an accident waiting to happen.
3.
Small town in Northern Scotland visited by Dean Martin? That's a Moray
Hahaha (*whispers* although it's a region)
4. 4 hrs use in 10 years. Must be a gem.
5. My research pointed towards the Psilocybe but then in a very well organised shoot on TB the Orbital Modulator beat it rather convincingly (plus it can do a gazillion other things) so I got one of them instead. Very happy with it.
6. Have you got a link to that case ivansc? It sounds the very dab as this bass is half explorer half mockingbird.
7. They seem a tad on the pricey side ... unless I'm looking at the wrong thing

9. No mate, its actually for one of my own creations. I don't think it would fit that shape of case anyway. (see attachment) I've just found out, that with a bit of luck, I may be able to modify a thunderbird case to fit... but not this one otherwise my T-bird wouldn't have anywhere to live. So there's good lead. An empt T-bird sized case would be ideal.
10. ....that doesn't cost the earth. I need to find a case that will take a bass 125x47cm.

12. Lots more thought-worthy ideas here, cheers guys. Keep 'em coming.
13. Some real food for thought here.... and we're all good with a blend it would seem. So far (hypothetically of course) we are wanting to stay away from clones but I have to say that Truly Beautiful Disaster is right up my hypothetical effects builders street. We've been collab'ing on modding a discontinued pedal of his (that's how this all got started) but we are actually doing away with it's self-oscillating loop and concentraiting more on a doomy fuzz in this new one. ... however I really like the idea of a built in LFO.
14. <p>
I'm not sure, not being much of a pedal user but hi, haven't seen you about for a while Hope you are well.
Tbh bud had a rough few years there healthwise and a bit of a divorce thrown in for good measure but things have been good for a bit now. Cheers and back atcha.
15. Ok so you've been chatting with a custom effect pedal builder and he's offered to build you a signature bass fuzz. What features would you consider mandatory, what would be on your wish list and what beneficial unique feature would you like on it? I'm thiking dual outputs, a buffered blend for the wet signal and a pad switch for hot pups.
16.
... I used to go to the various HiFi shows with my dad and it was always NAD separates and Monitor Audio speakers that sounded the best. My current setup is NAD amp an CD with Eltax bookshelf speakers. Not heard anything better. ....
Same-ish here. NAD amp and CD, Yamaha sound processor (to open 2 channel to 5.1 - frickin awesome job too), Castle rears and sub, AE floor fronts and Tannoy centre. I'm auditioning some KEFs for my front floors just now but am erring toward keeping the AEs despite them being the cheaper set.
17.
Any updates?
Sorry bud been unwell for a few weeks and all work has had to come to a halt for now. I hope to be back in the saddle soon though. I made up a complete set of utile/mahogany pickup covers and surrounds before I had to take time off. I might be able to get some pics up soon.
