1. You've got to be logged in to see those pics.
2. It's funny, at the Moffat bashes there is hardly any slapage. The emphasis there seems to be on tone rather than technique.
3. Sold pending payment
4. I've got a bag of them in the freezer. Perhaps we could do some sort of a deal?
5. £245 for the Yammy I lost interest at £73.
6. Looks a wee bit of a mess - maybe a fixer upper - certainly not all he's making it out to be. Basicaly an original neck nailed to a non original body, the tuners don't fit and the p/g.... just NO . The only noticable "upgrade" I can see is the BA (but that's subjective) It's just jumped up £60 while I was typing this - will be fun to watch.
7. Google translator has spectacularly failed on this occasion. My take on that last sentence is... The sound is exceptional with an impressive dynamic range and a very marked attack, the slap sound is massive and finger style produces growly mids.
8. This wee app kicks ass.
9.
I'm sorry but you have to draw the line somewhere ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Westbury-Track-2-Bas...=item4a9c6d440d This isn't quirky, or different, or unusual, or even challenging. It's ugly.
Quite Gibsony. I could live with it but the cream pup covers would have to go.
10.
Buy all the compilation albums ever released to coincide with fathers day, CDs of 'driving music', that sort of thing.
Ha ha good call.
11.
Love the home grown one, nice colour!
Cheers. It could so easily have been blue but someone had already done one. Your build thread was an inspiration.
12. ... and mine - one real and one home made. +1 to the Lollar.
13. Looking good man. How did the refret go? Have you decided on a colour?
14. Full on 95% of the time but roll back a notch for quieter passages, intros etc.
15.
Why have some of them embroidered the name of their favourite gateau on their backs?
Obviously "home ec" was part of the initiation process in this particular chapter.
16.
That was my thought too. Something like a Digitech JamMan maybe? Depends on musical style, whether it suits, etc.
There's one up for grabs in the F/S section right now. :brow:
17.
what does that mean ? serious question.
Not much really, just that he was a full Motorcycle Club member. First you get your colours (MC emblem) then as time goes on and you prove allegiance your [s]gang[/s] club you get your top rocker (the curved patch above the emblem) then your bottom - it might be the other way round, I've forgotten. You aren't considered a full member until you have the full set. It's just a lot of tosh really but when I was a young prospector (on early probation) it meant the world.... then I grew up (a bit) and realised I'd prefer to be a more individual type dude. here's an example....
18. One of the most worst prepared bands I've seen was at a biker gig in Germany. They were all over the place but importantly kept going, the singer (and I use the term loosely) who had colours with rockers bellowed Danzig style "In a vite room, viss bleck curtains, at ze stay-shon" (I kid you not) and an uncomfortable looking girl on bass that could hardly play. But the atmosphere was great and it didn't matter! We all had a great sing along.
19. Ah well there you go, I was only half wrong. I've learned something though, not all Squiers are ply (just the majority of Squire bodies I see on ebay) but no one here has one.
