  1. Ordered some good cables with John ,Nice speedy service ! Thanks 👍
  2. Very sad news , one of my all time favourite guitar players , I too shall raise a glass to the legend 🥃 RIP
  3. Wow Tony 🤦‍♂️😂
  4. Excellent pickups & a good price ( I imported them from Johnny) when I previously owned the RHT Sei bass - excellent bass too. The Neck pickup is a different range - captain fingers :- “A very tight, “fast” and highly projecting tone quality comes from this pickup, which has high timbral resolution and natural dynamics that are easily controllable with your right hand fingers. The tonal quality seems “natural” with extended lows and highs and an open and highly dynamic midrange, that can also “growl” a little bit in the lower presence area (due to “pre-aged” magnets), especially when you play very aggressive attacks.“ If I had a bass with j sized pickups in I’d buy them back 😉 GLWTS
  5. Easy dealing with Alain again , this time the Sadowsky knob variety - All good , thanks 👍
  6. It’s no secret around my household that daddy is fond of toblerone , so when I was presented with the “daddy” of all toblerones - I was delighted! Here is the 4.5kg beast alongside a 4kg bass :- And straight in there - sharing of course! I think it’s safe to say the post lockdown weight loss may have to wait a week or two 😂
  7. True , Božo Paradžik plays a Derek High bass and many other talented players. I’ll give it another week and will withdraw it & try a lighter tension setup. Back to a still very reasonable £1250 😉
  8. Bought a pedal from Gerry , great communication & well packaged delivery! Recommended basschatter to deal with, Thanks 👍
  9. Ordered and received a new loom within a few days ! Great stuff , Thanks John 👍
  10. Shame it didn’t work out Dave , this is a brilliant bass - up there with a Celinder J classic I had. @Jimelliottbassist owned quite some time ago too , tempting but GLWTS edit just to say - Dave is a top basschatter to deal with , One of the good guys 👍
  11. Yes , def a few mock-ups to be sure! I still think sans pick guard for the win!
  12. I thought it was great too , and agree on how short it was , 2 or 3 times as long would’ve been better ! I’ve dug out and have been listening to odyssey number 5 , vulture street & tea&sympathy the last few days - the kids are getting annoyed 😂
  13. It’s a great looking bass for sure , I personally think it’ll look cool in surf green with the Birdseye neck & no pick guard. GLWTS or Refinishing job 👍
  14. Yes , thanks for the link 👍 ( & thanks Erwan😉 ) I think in the video is Elixir rounds , it now has Thomastik flats on.
