  1. I remember seeing a similar lefty fretless 5 Thumb for sale on another forum which also had four knobs. The guy said it had a piezo fitted in the bridge. I wonder if this is what the extra knob could be?
  2. Looks sterling. So when exactly is this going into production? I'm assuming lefty option included of course! :-)
  3. You could prob stick a spike on that thing and play it like an upright.
  4. Wowser! Still fantasise about owning a Wal since playing a fretless many years ago at The Bass Place in Wapping on a trip to London. Didn't have the pennies then and sadly still don't have them now.
  5. Would like to see some better, more detailed pics please :-)
  6. Yep. Lollipops and a vintage look pickguard could make this a real goer...
  7. That is going to match so well with the headstock.
  8. Wish this were a lefty and I'm nearby too. Looks fab.
  9. A maple neck with block inlays and some cream pickup covers and it be a real looker.
  10. Wow! You have turned a coffee table into a beautiful functioning instrument! My congrats on this build. Q:Would an endpin jack socket been at all feasible for connecting a cable instead of the jack mount on the front? Just my 2 cents....:-)
  11. Ahh... Bringing back memories of my 1968 slotted headstock EBO. Have a bump on me.
  12. Matches my own 57 P. Perfect for funkin it up.
  13. Tremendous. What a looker! Lovely burst finish on this and rich tort guard.
  14. What would be a good small cab to match up with one of these?
  15. Very cool. Almost plays itself.
  16. I already beginning to hear the mwaaah....
  17. Whaaaa! Why is this not sold??? If it were a lefty I would snap this up.
  18. Looking forward to seeing the eye-candy shiny bits going on. Mega job as usual.
  19. Ha! Was expecting the story to end with a bang!
  20. Cool. Cass Lewis was the first player I ever saw playing a Warwick Thumb at TTD gig at Barrowlands, Glasgow.
  21. I think it was a Matkbass Tube 800 used to review the latest Barefaced Super Compact in one of the Bass mags recently and apparentlythey were a great match. Sadly both out of my budget.
  22. I used to own a lefty Thumb BO4 and found the neck would dive so be interesting to see if your body design tweaks will alleviate the issue whilst still keeping to a compact body shape. Another small body shape you could consider blending into the mix could be that of a more symmetrical SG but with contouring or is that just impractical?
