  1. Looks great with the matching headstock.
  2. I hate this. I had a Yamaha bass nicked once. Most pawn shops don't ask any questions when they get offered good stuff for pennies and if they are a chain store there's a good chance your gear will end up in another shop far away from where you live. I will have around my way. Good luck.
  3. Apparently Bill has the only short-scale L2. A one-off mould made specially just for him.
  4. Just curious but what did the final assembly weigh in at?
  5. That bass just screams vintage! Would love to hear that one.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has a dvd release date for the Jaco film? I believe it was shown last month during the SXSW festival in Austin Texas but beyond that new info seems pretty sketchy.
  7. I remember seeing a similar lefty fretless 5 Thumb for sale on another forum which also had four knobs. The guy said it had a piezo fitted in the bridge. I wonder if this is what the extra knob could be?
  8. Looks sterling. So when exactly is this going into production? I'm assuming lefty option included of course! :-)
  9. You could prob stick a spike on that thing and play it like an upright.
  10. Wowser! Still fantasise about owning a Wal since playing a fretless many years ago at The Bass Place in Wapping on a trip to London. Didn't have the pennies then and sadly still don't have them now.
  11. Would like to see some better, more detailed pics please :-)
  12. Yep. Lollipops and a vintage look pickguard could make this a real goer...
  13. That is going to match so well with the headstock.
  14. Wish this were a lefty and I'm nearby too. Looks fab.
  15. A maple neck with block inlays and some cream pickup covers and it be a real looker.
  16. Wow! You have turned a coffee table into a beautiful functioning instrument! My congrats on this build. Q:Would an endpin jack socket been at all feasible for connecting a cable instead of the jack mount on the front? Just my 2 cents....:-)
  17. Ahh... Bringing back memories of my 1968 slotted headstock EBO. Have a bump on me.
  18. Matches my own 57 P. Perfect for funkin it up.
  19. Tremendous. What a looker! Lovely burst finish on this and rich tort guard.
  20. What would be a good small cab to match up with one of these?
  21. Very cool. Almost plays itself.
  22. I already beginning to hear the mwaaah....
