  2. Nice bass....I expect that it sold, right?
  3. Part exchanges considered....what do you have?
  4. Should we imply then that any others that you own have been molested? 😉 😉
  5. When I started playing again after a 10 year break I bought myself a Gallien Kruger 110 Backline - still have it (though it doesn't get much use). Can't fault it...and I've seen them sell for £60 on eBay.
  6. ...and most of it sounds better than the lightweight "equivalents"...
  7. I took one of these in a part exchange recently. Can't find a lot of info about them. I believe they were popular in between 2000-2009 but that's about all I've managed to gather about them. Any idea of value?
  8. Good thread...a friend of mine is looking for a (short scale probably) bass for his grandson...I'm sure he'll be interested
  9. Monster basses - recently sold mine as part of my downsizing - IMO not much between this and the Euro models (owned both at the same time - sold the Euro and kept the NS2000). You'll be hard pushed to find as good a bass for the money. TBH I think the OP is silly to sell this.
  10. ....and they all lived happily ever after.
  11. I think I played a Clarinet once.... My music teacher was also my form tutor and she was a proper b!tch - as a punishment she would pick you up by pinching you by the hair. She eventually married a former student. Another of my music teachers I now realise was a dope smoker. Obvious looking back but didn't realise till years later.
  12. Can't say I've seen one of these before - essentially a Chinese Jazz with twin Humbuckers https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Jazz-Bass-Modern-Player-Rare-2011-Humbucker-HH/164332875480?hash=item264300aed8:g:kjAAAOSw-XBfMpZn
  13. Loved and used by "name" bassists
  14. I think the clue is in the previous post.
  15. IIRC @Sibob used to make his own pedals...
  16. What Steve said... Be prepared to name and shame
  17. I've got one that I bought for my Squier Standard but haven't fitted yet. This is a very good price for a good bridge.
  18. 5 days to go - currently £90 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-bass-3-4-size/124313515109?hash=item1cf1a9b465:g:~mQAAOSwKnlfRo9Y

  19. These are always going to be subjective - FWIW I don't agree with many being on the list and IMO there are loads of better lines missing.
  20. Elementary mistake... You built them the wrong way round!!😉😉 Just kidding...nice work
  21. I seem to be the exception to the rule - of the three custom builds I've had built for me I still have all three. Admittedly one comes out very rarely but the two that @Andyjr1515 built for me get used regularly and are firm favourites with visitors to my home. I've actually been more disappointed by factory basses. My first Ray (1996, mutes and figured maple) was a dream to play but I sold it here to fund something else. Shortly after I bought a 2006 to replace it, seriously disappointing - none of the previous assets and felt "average". Recently bought a G&L M2000, loved it but sold it as part of my downsizing - sellers remorse so bought a G&L Jazz - didn't have the same "oomph".
