1. I traded for Tom's SR300. Good deal, good comms, great packing I'd very happily deal with him again. Thanks Tom
2. Since Star Wars begins "Once upon a time", I'm not sure now much difference there is anyway
3.
Check out pleasuredome...cracking bassline on that too!
Yup (I like the whole thing, actually.)
4. I am slightly reassured by the description... the "artist" says repeatedly that it's "one of a kind". Hopefully it will stay that way.
5.
It's got to be almost unplayable. Your arms would catch on all the jagged parts. Take a look at his other items. i like this one http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c348d1173
for which the seller wants 800 euros... words fail me.

7. hup! make me an offer, trade, add to a bigger deal?
8. damn. This sets new lows for ugly. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c345ba005 I actually hope it's a home-mutilated bass (horrible though the idea is). If it's not, that would mean that this thing made it into production... ew.
9. That looks very nice indeed. Also, I tried your link, and it wants me to log in.
10. Nice I've been thinking about a fretless 5 for a little while. If this is still here in a week (which I doubt ) then no doubt the GAS will have its way...
11.
I am actually going to build one soon, so I shall report back after
If you're doing that, you may find this site useful: www.largesound.com. Have a look at the user forum, there are several people there who like tinkering with short-scale builds with plastic strings.
12. I've got one (bought from BC member bobpalt). I like it. I like the portability, I like the thud, I like not needing an amp to practice. Its downside, for me, is that it's hard to get people to take them seriously - which is why I don't play it as much as I'd like. It's actually easier to get that with an Ashbory. Also, Bakithi Kumalo likes them, so I figure I'm in good company
13. If I liked 'burst basses, I'd like that Good luck with your sale!
14. Piezo pup may be really squeaky... if you're using piezos, try flatwounds. But I agree that technique is the key. I wish I had some
