I like some jazz, but not all that much. I've listened to a fair bit and still do, partly because I know I don't understand it. I was considerably put off, a few years ago, when I read a comment by Dave Brubeck saying that gigs could be spoiled by people in the audience [i]listening in the wrong way[/i].

It's also possible that the string retainer has had its corners filed off. They are a menace to anyone near your left shoulder.

I don't like it, but that's not the point. The point is, you do like it. Go for it, and I hope it's everything you want.

Hmm. I like the Peavey neck on its old body... so, perhaps I should be working out a way to remove 0.5mm from each side of its heel. Obviously it needs to be reasonably symmetrical. I can't afford proper luthiery. So, I'd be grateful for suggestions
