  1. This is a question for anyone with a Yamaha Attitude LTD 3. I have a brand new Limited 3 and I'm just trying to wrap my head around what the controls are doing. Twin output mode works as I would expect, each pickup having a linear volume control with a tone roll off and push/pull hi-cut circuit for the neck pickup. The pickups blend as I would expect. The middle pup retains it's clarity throughout. It's the single output or "Mono" mode that is confusing me. It sounds to me like the volume controls for each pickup, instead of giving a linear increase in volume, now have a very sharp taper as you approach full output. So they seem to go from "off" to "on" in the last 10% of the pot range. And then, when both pickups are blended with the tone on the neck pup rolled off, the middle pickup almost disappears from the mix. I was wondering if anyone with a Limited 3 could tell me if this is designed behaviour or if this one's been wired up funny.
  2. Hah!! I’ve got one of these. Flippin’ brilliant piece of kit. Knocked spots off of my Dirty Blonde. I seem to recall the leather gig bag’s worth a pretty penny on it’s own…. trev
  3. David’s just hand delivered (!!) the Korg Wavestate I bought from him a couple of days ago. It’s in fantastic condition, just as he said it would be. He’s a total star in my book and a credit to this Forum. Until next time…… trev
  4. Just to clarify, this is up for trade only and not a straight sale?
  5. Love it.
  6. I've loved these since auditioning one at Manson's in exeter in the early 90's and it won out against a Sterling and US jazz. I finally picked one up last year and it won't be leaving any time soon.
  7. +1 for the Bassbone! It's been my go to for years.
  8. Yeah, I think me and the L1000 are going to get along very nicely. 😘
  9. Just traded my Thumb Dirty Blonde for Keir's L1000. Great fella, great bass (very well set up and cared for) and I look forward to dealing with him again. A proper Basschatter! best trev
  10. Now, that's tempting.
  11. Very cool. Would look good next to my bb2000.......... 🤔
  12. Yup, total bargain.
  13. It's a great piece of kit. Very light and compact with a slim, satin neck that's dead easy to play. Lovely growl to the tone. The construction is first rate. The neck heel profile slopes inwards, if I remember right, and Jon fashioned a neck pocket that fits like a glove. I never got round to trying, but I always fancied it'd fit into a carry-on suitcase if you took the neck off. Trev
  14. The Shuker badge is on the rear edge behind the ABM tuners.
