    I've just bought a Dean Jeff Berlin off Mike. It's a damn fine bass, very well set up and in very good nick. Tea and bounty bars were also provided which I very much appreciated. Great guy to deal with.

    Hey folks, I'm putting this one up for sale to make some space. I'm coming to the conclusion that, maybe, 16 basses might be too many :-) I probably don't need to rattle on too much, save to say it's in great shape, is hilarious to slap and weighs around 7.5lbs. The truss rod works as it should, the action is low and it has an upgraded just-a-nut 3. It comes in a decent gigbag with a folder full of bits (truss rod adjuster, certificate of authenticity etc).     Great piece of kit. I love mine. I actually prefer it to my old Euro LX 5, the Rebop having a similar character but sounding a little warmer to my ears. G'luck with the sale.

    If that's a new neck, this is a bargain. The neck on my 2016 corvette masterbuilt is bloody lovely, with a slim C profile. Nicer than my '06 thumb.

    You could see if a local luthier, Manson's perhaps if you're in Exeter, would make you one up? Jon Shuker's make me a few over the years and the price is usually comparable to an off-the-shelf jobbie.

    "[color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Is it your first Spector?"[/font][/color] No, I've had a Euro 4 LX for years. Absolutely love it. Stunning instrument. I had a Euro 5lx which I regretted selling, so this one fills the gap very nicely. I may even prefer it, not sure yet.

    Picked it up today from a very nice gentleman indeed. After a quick set up (put a little relief in the neck and set the action and intonation) , it's absolutely spot on. It's in pristine condition in an unused gator hardcase and plays beautifully. The G string is fine, the camera angle was playing tricks in the pics. chuffed!

    I won this one (much to my surprise). I'll let you know how it pans out. I should think the g string is the camera angle, but if not then it's £20 for a new nut at Jon's on the way home
