    I know. There's standard Thumb BO's going for more than this. I'd have had your arm off a few months back. 3 piece flamed maple neck, ebony board, light weight swamp ash with a thick burl maple top and a versatile electronics package for the price of a second hand precision? Yes please.

    Nice neck! For those that need it, it takes size #10, 32 thread per inch machine screws to fit the brass inserts to mount the neck.

    Thanks for this. I've saved the thread for future reference in case my GP7 (which I've also owned since 1991) ever plays up. Apart from some occasionally crackly pots, it's fine. Not bad for 23 years, really.
