Its a weird one, eh? Its up for £700 quid and some change. I don't think thats a bad price for a Hamer Explorer. Why insist on describing it as something that its obviously not? I mean he might have thought it was a Blitz when he bought it, he might have always called it a Blitz and never been contradicted before- these are unusual basses after all- but now he's been told and presented with evidence that it's not actually a Blitz but something else, which is still probaby worth what he wants, he gets the hump. Truly there is nowt so strange as folks.

I wouldn't ever consider using DT100s for mixing.

That'll teach you...trying to be helpful and factual...He's had Hamer basses since Adam was a lad you know.

An updated list based on yesterdays plays. By year This is the new one, slightly more in the 1990's than before. Queen still has the most entries with 15 followed by Black Sabbath with 12 and AC/DC with 11 and Led Zepp with 10 The 1970's and 1980's still dominate Rob -

That is nice looking. Congrats. Now go play the bollocks out of it. -
I had a Musician years ago. Very nice bass, but I can't recall why I sold it. The young fella who bought it was thrilled though.

The usual fix is to remove the Librarian and Central programs and their preference files and re-install, because something has become corrupted from the original installation. This which trying on a different computer normally also works.
-
Thanks Dave. This worked! Librarian and Central both installed fine on my laptop and it's now updated to the latest firmware. Weird Same issue. Everything would download but when I clicked update it did nothing.

Heard the Neox212 in action and thought it sounded great. They were very highly thought of, and a lot more affordable than many mentioned here.

Yeah I will be there ( Vintage Bass Room ) with @AndyTravis and a plethora of basses and amps/merch. Don't be put off by The Guitar Show, they are contained to downstairs while the cool bass cats have the upstairs to themselves, completely widdle-free! Its a very cool couple of days and plenty of Bass stuff, Bass Direct, Ashdown, Spector, Dingwall... As soon as I have a confirmed list of who's exhibiting I will pop it on here. Come by and say hello if you're coming

I sold one of Ashley's basses via the Bass Gallery a couple of years ago, a graphite Warlord. Is it possible it might have had a 3 band you worked on? Did Kent Armstrong make the pickups? Also, your user ID is interesting. In Mandarin it means 'comfortable'. Do you have any Chinese connections or is it pure conincidence?
