  1. Past hour
  2. Fabulous, & as usual in a different time zone 😭😆
  3. Feel kinda sorry for any bass player who had to let that go to CC.....
  4. Settling with my Anagram and found a NAM profile(Tech21 Red Ripper) that can do something similar so this one must go. Listing it at £400. Bought from the US including postage and customs. Paid more than my selling price. Only thing missing is the pink paper packaging wrap, won’t affect the tone though 😂 Any questions, feel free to message me. Chad
  5. For many years I was a long term user of Guitar Tapp Pro on Android. It's been all I needed when playing in 4 different bands, easy to share and simple to create and edit set lists. It's now been upgraded and replaced by Chords.wiki and is faster, more flexible and easy to use. As it's an App you can use it across your, phone, tablet or laptop and it automatically sync's up from the cloud. Sharing set lists between band members is breeze. Only downside is the annual subscription.
  6. I'm sure they still tried to offer the previous owner £50 for it though.
  7. It wasn't a background / restaurant gig. It was a rock venue.
  8. Replacement Rock/Metal guitarist wanted for Dio’s Purple tribute band. Set ready, gigs pending Warrington based 🤘
  9. Nice, but not really all that much use to me.
  10. Not to mention their X Air series mixers have become the go-to solution for many gigging bands on the pub and corporate circuit.
  11. Shipping should be possible as I'm getting a new cab in a couple of weeks so I can recycle the packaging from that.
  12. . . . . and then Monica arrives with her noisy weekends!
  13. That was me - I think you had the Clover and I the Stingray. In any case, I think I need a gold sparkly bass again so have DM'd OP
  14. If you put the screws in the holes, unless you leave them proud, the holes will be made bigger, so when you come to replace covers, the screws will have nothing to screw into. 🤷‍♂️ Put them in a bag with the covers.
  15. Waifs And Strays - Marc Almond
  16. I'm near Wakefield now so posting would have to be the way as halfway is around Bristol! I don't have available funds at the moment but am hoping they're not too far on the horizon, so just looking at options for the fiver I've been promising myself for a while, and this is very high up on my list.
  17. The screw pixies ran off with mine sometime in the mid 80's.
  18. This is such a gorgeous bass. I have the HCT 500/1 version - the mid-range Contemporary Series - and even that is a wonderfully playable, resonant and authentic bass. But it won't hold a candle to this one. GLWTS, Ash! (not that you should need it!)
  19. That is just crazy talk 🤣 tape them to the covers and put them in the case or envelope in parts drawer.
  20. Vintage 1980's Westone Thunder 1A Active Electric Bass from Matsumoku Factory, Japan - Fretless. Manufactured between 1981 and 1989. Serial number 4071308 Check out the Westone website as it holds useful information. Different eras of this iconic bass but otherwise very much the same instrument (other than being fretless + active). This f/less bass has been converted from an originally fretted bass. There are the usual signs of pitting/wear to the original metallic hardware (SEE PHOTOS). Pots run smooth with no crackle currently when played. Knobs pitted and aged. There are signs of surface scratching and small dings etc. as photographed. instrument has a basic, somewhat tatty, generic hardcase. Price includes UK 24/48h courier delivery

  22. Hi All, Got my eye on a PJB D400 which I also want to use as a preamp/DI for teaching online lessons. Anyone know if PJB heads can be run safely without having a speaker load attached? Conventional wisdom seems to indicate that class D power amps don't need a load, but wanted to check! Thanks! Andy
  23. This is in the Colchester store, saw it there a while back. It's such an incredibly niche instrument that they will struggle to sell it! If anyone is interested, send them an offer via email, they tend to be quite negotiable on the niche things that haven't sold in a while.
  24. I've done both, most recently I put them back in as I've lost them after affixing them with masking/sellotape in the past.
