I'm not sure whether that's good or bad news @Lozz196 😂 Looking forward to hearing your review on it if i'm still around by then. 😂 Dave

I'd forgotten all about this song with Kate Bush. That's an incredible version of my fav KB song. Tony's playing is absolutely superb and suits this song way better than the original bass line. Even the drums sound far better on this version. Dave

Good point, I hope he is feeling better for tomorrow and Sunday. I tried to text him this morning but over here in the colonies there are places in the northern areas where there is no cell service and that is where he is, camping in his RV at the festival site. 🙄🤞

If it was anything like the time my band played The Corn Exchange, I know where you’re coming from.

I'm just chuffed for my friend Christian Madden who's playing keys. I've known him for nearly 30 years and we've done countless gigs together in numerous guises, from when he was just a lad. He's the most down to earth and honest Lancashire bloke you would ever wish to meet. I'm very proud of him tonight. Rob

Sometimes its hard when someone isnt well but at least you still did the gig rather than cancel. We played a very busy venue once where our female singer was so unwell she had to leave stage to vomit in the band toilet next to stage area. She carried on until the end and we sent her home right away. We could have played the gig with just the one singer but she insisted she wanted to play it as its her local rock venue. Fortunately the audience were aware she wasn't well and were very appreciative that the band continued as normal. Its not an easy decision to cancel a gig so for me i think maybe a little praise for your singer that they didn't cancel and take it as a positive rather than a negative. Dave

How do I change the email address of my account ?

Try 'Reporting' your own post (the three little dots, top right of every post...); this will attract rapid attention from the Mods and Admins, who will be able to either talk you though it, or do it in your stead. Try it, maybe..? -
I'm running Atlas compressor, MXR Bass Synth, MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe into Tech21 XB Driver. That's using presets on the synth. I'll have a mess about with it later. All is good atm though.

How do I change the email address of my account ?
Leftypete posted a question in Site Issues and Questions
Hi, I need to change the email address of my account but can't find an option for this in my account settings - can anyone advise how to do this please ? Having been a member for 12 years I really hope I don't have to start from scratch and build up feedback etc. as if I never previously existed ! Thanks. -
If you are looking you know what these are. A versatile pedal with a miriad of sounds I am selling both as a package. The controller enables scrollling through your presets and there’s alot available! I used this for some synth on MJ tracks pyt/thriller and for some newer dua lipa tracks. both are boxed. In VGC. £240 posted. Fwonk not included!

Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 These are great amps well known for their tonal versatility and power to weight ratio. It is in excellent working condition with a few minor scratches and blemishes to the casing. Pickup preferred so you can try it through my cab but I’m happy to post at buyer’s expense in the UK only. It comes with mains lead and a gig-bag the rubber feet are missing from the amp and I suspect they were taken off so it would fit neatly in the bag. I’d consider trades on a Bergantino 12 cab, Markbass LM head or even a Nano. I’ve reduced the sale price as I have my eye on a cab.

He also did the percussion. I worked with him quite a few times, a larger than life character. Would sit in the control room and listen to the track a few times while his roadie setup a table of all his percussion bits. A stereo mic setup. Then he would go out and perform this amazing tapestry of percussion. Great bloke.

Luis Jardim RIP on bass, such an important record to me that blew me away as a kid back in late '85.
