    Budget Jazz Bass in excellent condition. A Stagg branded jazz with a maple neck and lightly flamed maple board. P bass nut width. Controls are as standard aside from the series/parallel switch. Plays and sounds very nice. Alder body (according to the spec sheet) which is Quite light and full sounding, and rare at this price point. Could do with the funds but im open to trades for amp heads or pedals possibly. Postage possible, collection/meet preffered. Cheers

    I doubt it was down to the film... the different plastics of the ply shrinking or gassing at different rates - some early celluloid plates resemble thise 'Shrinky Dinkies' of the 80's

    Blimey, had a rehearsal this morning, lots of swing jazz, probably used every note on every string up to 10th fret or so. Plenty of notes available even on a four string, a shame not to use them.

    Now just £310.00. This amazing emulation of the acoustic control corporation 360 preamplifier with variamp and built in fuzz is up for grabs. Hand made by the renowned JC Maillet and commissioned and imported by myself at great cost. I have used the 360+ for studio recordings, gigs, rehearsals and at home, it has never dissapointed. The preamp sounds fantastic and the fuzz section is the best I have used. I have owned this pedal for a good few years from new, as can be seen it's in pristine condition. Specially sourced UK power supply also included. Will happily run from other sources with the right leads (I used it with a trex chameleon). Fully detailed printed instruction manual also included. Only available as I have more preamplifiers than I can use. Try out/collection always welcome, or UK insured postage for £15.00

    Hi peeps F/S are a set of neck and bridge pickups for Rickenbacker style basses. These are the single coil with static impedance of 8.2k Ohms (neck) and 8.4k Ohms (bridge). Bought in anticipation of a project that never happened. As you can see they are unopened but I have added in the pics from the Retrovibe website for clarity and a link to the relevant pages.     I managed to get cracking and get the P bass playing the way I like. As I suspected the plastic film that was still on the scratch plate had welded itself to the tort plate. On closer inspection the plate was warped whilst it was screwed onto the bass, I don`t know what was going on there, was it because the original film was still on the plate after 15 odd years? Anyway I ordered a black 3 ply one from Northwest Guitars for £22 with next day delivery and it fitted perfectly with all the screw holes lining up. Next a new set of EB`s Slinkys, I oiled the fretboard and it was good to go. Intonation was perfect so maybe it was set up when it was bought? The bass plays and sounds great and the neck profile is perfect for me. Overall I`m very happy with this purchase @DGBass I have taken a pic of the tuners for you.
