Lakland5 started following Markbass 121 lite combo Alain Caron
-
Hi everyone. Selling my Alain Caron combo. It’s in great condition, no marks or tears. It’s light, it’s loud and it’s very articulate. Here is what markbass say; Top-level sounding combo designed with bass legend Alain Caron, the COMBO 121 LITE is a powerful bi-amp combo, now updated with a 300W power amp for the new compression driver, and 500W power amp for the 12” speaker with maximum fidelity, headroom and dynamics! Alain Caron is known for his high standards, and the components in this combo were carefully chosen to reach those standards. Will post at buyer expense Thanks for having a look

Wireless IEM system : M-VAVE WP-12 - suprisingly good for the price

That's disappointing. I wonder if it's the battery itself. Once the refund is in the pocket, I'd be tempted to open it and see if I could change the battery. They're usually quite cheap but it'll probably require some soldering and steady hand, as it's so tiny. -
Why were older basslines so much more interesting?
lowdown replied to Stub Mandrel's topic in Theory and Technique
The composer, Jonathan Wolff played the bassline on each episode with slightly different fills and varied syncopation. It was to sync with the opening standup routines. He explained and demonstrated the process in this short video. It was a patch played on a Korg M1. There were also some other odd sampled patches thrown in/cobbled together here and there. -
And just to confirm: to charge the uniots, all you do is plug them into the charger box, right? No need to press that button, or do you have to? I only press it to check the charge but I wonder if I actually have to press the button to start charging, hmmm. When charging, the units lit red for a bit and then everything turns off (a few minutes), but it's still charging, tight? Sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to make sure it's not user error before I try to open these and see if a new battery fixes things, or even just get another, as I really like the design (if it works, and yours seems to!).

What are your irrational prejudices? I have some bonkers ones...

Or Olympic grade stumbling on stairs and competitive vocabulary reduction? those are quite crucial criteria- on no account should any US president be young enough to manage to string a sentence together and keep it on-topic -
It's actually a final chorus, after 3 verse and chorus combos before. It's a semi-respectable 1'54", so not really Napalm Death length!

UPDATED: Price dropped to £220 This is a fantastic little practice amp that I'm only selling as I'm now using my son's amp in the rehearsal room instead so it's surplus to requirements. In good condition bar the paint on the bottom front corners that has come off at some point. It's mostly been sat on my desk bar a couple of occasions taking to friends house and is from a smoke free home if that matters to you. Selling with 'Poweradd Pilot pro 2' external power pack that fits under the handle for portability - if you don't want this then the amp will be £200. Welcome to try if seriously interested, message me and we can arrange. Payment preferred by bank transfer but will accept cash. All documents included but no box unfortunately so I won't be posting.

Tried listening to The Stranglers today....

Yes, it was the Raven tour, what an iconic image that Raven is. I've also seen them many times over the years and still enjoy seeing them with the latest line-up - Today

I don't fear the basswood, I'm sure MM have their reasons for using it and they certainly have a lot more experience in instrument construction than I do!

At the price point it can be a bit hit and miss but had a Sonic and it was a decent bass.
