    Not my gig, but I was in the studio yesterday recording the first couple of tracks for my second album. The studio engineer (who is also guitarist and sometime backing vocalist on my recordings) casually dropped into the conversation that he opened for Planet Rock's "Winters End" festival on Thursday.

They seem to call the pro series now bought mid 2025 German Made with Pro Rockbag and the full tool pack it’s in excellent condition No Trades please There hard to find but seem to retail around north of £2k now !     You'll struggle to match the tone but you'll get reasonably near. You have PJ pickups so you're part way there. A little drive and just a hint of chorus. Both pickups on full and boost the mids a bit. Something like a Sansamp will get you the right sort of over drive to emulate Mike's Ampeg SVT amp. Mike Starr played a Spector bass and they have a really distinctive tone with quite a growl to it. Spector make a budget range which you can find for around £300 used and they're not all that far off. They're not as punchy or big sounding but not bad.

    ...and a truss rod adjustment tool (not original) I had a Pedulla a couple of years back and it had the exact same truss rod tool, so I'd say it is original. Nice bass btw

    It's born for funk and rock music! Thanks to the ramp and 35 scale it manages to maintain a relatively low action and can be played also with a... "physical finge style"!

    Interesting article on Sky News "Robots listening to robots': How AI music fraudsters are spamming sites and taking cash from real musicians" https://share.google/1KocfxqaVx7QUGx7N Other concerns aside I knew these platforms were being flooded with AI content but the sheer scale of it, apparently 60,000 tracks a day just on Deezer and rapidly snowballing, is an eye opener.
