Band Mule: A calendar app for bands Anyone using it?
Phil Starr replied to Phil Starr's topic in General Discussion
Ain't that the truth! It's not unusual for the people who won't give you the information to be the ones asking "why there aren't more gigs?" or "why haven't you organised a reherarsal?" I've now used Rallly successfully once but still have one errant band member who hasn't filled in dates for three months on the second poll I sent out. I think I'm going to plug away with it for a while and see if it can become a habit -
I found the FSR Fenders to be the best. The one I have is an absolutely amazing instrument. I was luck enough to try a few of them and picked the one I liked the best. I have two basses I will never sell and this is one of them. The rest I’m sort of ambivalent towards.

I picked this up from @Basilpea not that long ago. It's a great cab, but it isn't a cosmetic match to my other AT210, so being the fickle person I am I want to replace this... It's got some small dents from being gigged, but overall in good condition and absurdly light. You can pick it up with two fingers! It's also very loud. W52 x D33,5 x H57 cm 600 watts at 4 ohms 103dB SPL Also comes with GR Bass soft padded cover. GR say: The lightest 2×10 bass cabinet in the world. Thanks to its size, lightness, and power, the AT 210 is one of the most versatile cabinets in the entire catalog. Suitable for both small and large live shows, it allows you to always have your sound with you. With the AeroTech line, you can have the incredible innovation of our Carbon Fibre cabinets combined with the Pure Sound of GR, which is the pure sound of your instrument. Incredible sound, lightweight, power, impact resistance, and a beautiful modern design. I'm afraid this is collection only, as I don't have anything suitable to ship it in. No trades either thanks. I'm using @Basilpea's pictures, which I hope he's okay with.

I was considering posting something about a new band member of some famous band that I thought was crap, but I couldn't think of any. -

You know, when you said you needed a red bass, I wondered… but now I get it completely 😅 Looks great 👌 -
I still like the idea of a bass with a rechargeable battery and a USB C socket on the back to charge it. Or just an XLR out and phantom power. Both totally OTT as solutions but for some reason I'm drawn to an easy external power source.

June Voting thread for the composition Challenge

That was a close call all round! It stayed tight at the top with 3 joint winners and 5 joint runners up only a point behind , well done all 👍 With an inaugural spot on the top step I will ask @Baloney Balderdash to send me an image for the July challenge. I shall attempt the certificates this evening -

Well I had a such a good experience in dealing with Paul that I bought another bass from him in a matter of a few weeks. He is a genuine guy, pleasure to deal with, side note he has one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. 🌵🪴 😁 Thanks Paul

The biggest, greatest thing in metal is never the best. The most amazing bands will always be on the fringes doing something original that most people will never listen to.
