1. Absolutely stunning, doubt it'll be on the market long! Good luck with the sale.
2. Bought a Darkglass Infinity from Alin, was the easiest transaction from the moment I enquired. He’s a great dude who will keep you updated all the way.
3. Basschatters can have confidence with Paul. I recently sold a Warwick, very prompt payment, quick responses and an all round pleasant transation.
4. With great reluctance and a few events in my life now taking more time than I seemingly have, I have decided that I no longer have as much time for music and there for I should downsize. So I will now be selling my Warwick Corvette $$ 5 string. My original aquisition has a funny story, so I will write it out here. This bass was picked up at G.A.K over in Brighton when they had it listed as a Standard, however as expected the bass photographed was a double $$ indicated by it's distinct pickups. The documentation provided is for a 2007 STD but I assure you this is likely down to the original seller mixing this up as the serial number on this bass ends 06. It's in good condition considering its age. I have upgraded the machine heads, bridge and nut recently to their gold/brass counterparts. It does have a chip on the first fret on the top side, as well as some body scuffs and scratches. All of which I have pictured Warick Serial Number Lookup states the following produced: 09.08.2006 Description: Corvette $$, 5-string Natural Oil finish Swamp Ash body Ovangkol neck Black hardware Made in Germany Looking for 850ono Feel free to inbox me any questions.
5. Patrick bought my Van Der End Jazz Bass. As a buyer he is very responsive, friendly and extremely patient as we had this whole pandemic lark going on. Highly recommend, would 100% deal with again.
6. Had the pleasure of dealing with Antonio when he bought my Darkglass Pedal. Very prompt payment, patient during this whole pandemic and kept me notified at his end. Would deal with again.
7. Honestly, a small checkup on the single switch that doesn't adjust anything. Maybe fill that hole, or leave it for that beat up look. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I do like my Jazz Basses clean.
8. Picked this up locally, gentlemen said he got it from this very forum, excellent sounding. The bass itself is listed on Andre's website with a rosewood fretboard, yet this one is maple. So it's certainly not standard. http://www.vanderend.nl/jb4-vintage/ Bass requires some work to make it perfect, which I'm not the right guy for, as such I've decided to knock some money off. Has an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp fitted which is a positive, I'd question the way it's been hooked up as one of the switches doesn't alter the sound at all. Otherwise really powerful. There is a hole in the body where someone looks to have tried to change a pickup. Weight: ~4kg (~8.8lbs). Sold with a Music Man hardcase. If you would like to arrange a play, hear it or need to ask any questions, I'm happy to oblige. Thank you for your interest.
9. Not much else to add that others haven't, an excellent addition to anyones arsenal. The pedal is in excellent condition, only used a couple of times on the road, else just home use. Feel free to ask me any questions. Happy to post out at your expense.
10. Singer's uploading some footage from our recent show at The Brook in Southampton once he's edited all the shots, don't expect it to be classy, other than that I don't have any current soundbites. It has some subtle growl to it due to the 2band pre amp, But it is a fine sounding instrument that punches well above it's weight, I've read countless forums in which people say they prefer the Japanese crafted models to the American in terms of sound and play ability. - Weight wise it is similar to an Ibanez SR500, it was made in Japan and tailored in there mindsets on how instruments should be. - Nut width and string spacing, I'll get an exact measurement. I never really considered myself a 5 string player in the years I played, but I found this to be an great way to ween into it. - Pre amp shot, I'll get a photo when I get back from work tonight. - Also would consider Part Exing towards a Warwick if anyone wants to make an offer. But anything is considered.
11. It's been a while bump! Need funds after so much gathering. Questions being replied to later, for any more info feel free to ask as I'm not away from my home except working hours.
12.
this is a very cool Fender 5.. i take it there is a preamp in this..?
You are correct, the controls are Volume, Pick up control, Low End, High End. Thank you deanovw for adding those to the site for me.
13. Hello all, got this in a trade little over 2 months ago, very much love it, the tone is sublime, it's 5 string style is easy to pick up even for a 4 string player. (I am one) But due to it's age, condition and my inability to look after instruments, due to an exuberant style and unwillingness to put on a scratchplate to counter act this. I'm going to put this up for anyone who will value it more than I can. * Fender Hotrod Pickups * 2 band active pre amp * Standard toploader bridge * Great string spacing, 4 string players will grasp easy * Great for all styles * Rosewood Neck * 21 Frets * Mint condition * Soft case Serial: H003325 Photo's here http://s1289.beta.ph...r%20Jazz%20Bass I can only ship it to the UK I'm afraid, as my bills have piled up, or drop off if the distance isn't Scotland. I'm after around £500ono, or a trade for anything less vintage. (String wise doesn't matter)
14. Had some feelers pop in, one seems interesting. But still here as off now. Bump!
