  2. Anodized gold pickguard from my Fender Classic 50s Precision Bass. Free postage.
  3. A pricier option, but these look like a good idea. https://loogguitars.com 3 top strings from a guitar, on a child-sized instrument. Less to learn, and transferable to big guitar later.
  4. i remember hearing that the first time in a club and was absolutely blown away, fantastic tune there Dr J
  5. Yes as others have said you get different size buds/tips BUT... that isn't the only factor for good fit/isolation. I tried three different sets of IEs before I found the Senn IE100 was the best fit for me; KZs were too heavy on the outside of my ear and skewed the fit so they leaked (regardless of type or size of tip). Just saying!
  6. PAIR of Vintage 1980's Westone Thunder I & 1A Passive & Active Electric Basses from Matsumoku Factory, Japan - Fretless & Fretted. Manufactured between 1981 and 1989. Serial numbers 2021811 & 4071308 Check out the Westone website as it holds useful information. Different eras of this iconic bass but otherwise very much the same instrument (other than being fretted/fretless + active/passive). The f/less bass has been converted from an originally fretted bass. There are the usual signs of pitting/wear to the original metallic hardware (SEE PHOTOS). Pots run smooth with no crackle currently when played. Knobs pitted and aged. There are signs of surface scratching and small dings etc. as photographed. One set of the original 'westone' tuners have been replaced with a generic set. Not tried it, but the necks could be swapped across if the active circuit preferred in the fretted bass. Each instrument has a basic, somewhat tatty, generic hardcase, so they'd have to be courier'd separately. I'd prefer to sell as the pair but might consider splitting (and relisting) IF there's interest in both individually.

  7. My recently acquired Greg Barcus Custom 6-string.
  8. tell you what @Burns-bass - I’ll Chuck a tenner in for you x
  9. There are a lot of differnt size/types of ear tip available on Amazon etc. It can take a few attempts to get the best fit, but it’s worth it in the end.
  10. As mentioned a few pages ago, it was my Combustion -> GX-100 -> Bass Big Muff/Mojo Mojo in the loop -> Laney Digbeth. The big head you can see next to me is the guitarist/singers old 70s Yamaha solid state thing. It supposedly imitates a Fender Twin.
  11. These look really nice! Nice unique shape too. Have no doubt that they’ll play lovely too If their Jet basses are anything to go by!
  12. Freeze Frame - J Geils Band
  13. I bought one of these a few weeks ago; fantastic bass. Wide but really comfortable neck, and a huge range of sounds. Absolutely love it, and recommend this. Best of luck with the sale.
  14. Ooof, Dingwall have pictures of the green now. That'd be my pick.
  15. Family Snapshot - Peter Gabriel
  16. Correct. Great sounding pickup and a great playing little vintage Fender!
  17. And the original line, in context:
  18. Set up searches on ebay and reverb with notifications.
  19. I have a set of SE425s and they do give a lot of attenuation, more than my ACS earplugs which are 'up to' 26dB. They also come with a range of tips in different types and sizes - bear in mind you may need a different size in each ear.
  20. A Photograph Of You - Depeche Mode
  21. Roland Cube 30 Bass Amplifier (Combo):....... represents an incredible value / features in compact bass amps.10-inch speaker with 30 watts of punch with 3-band EQ, COSM Guitar Amp Modeling and built-in DSP effects. The COSM modeling gives you 8 distinct guitar amp sounds, while the EFX section offers chorus, flanger, phaser and tremolo. There’s even independent Delay/Reverb processing—and the EFX section is controllable via optional footswitch (NOT incuded, of course). The Roland Cube series offers quality entry point into the world of amps, with built-in effects and amp modeling. In excellent condition (see photos) with all aspects / features working fine. The only issue I've had is that there appears to be a faint crossover when engaging the 'Octave' effect, so that when switched off there remains some faint(er) 'echo' of -8ve. The other 'amp' options work fine (as do all oter FX / features etc.). Unit is c. 13kg and c. 40 x 40 x 30 cm (so not actually a 'cube').
