  2. @Harlequin74 luggage scales saying 4.3kg
  3. 1 Fender Neo Bassman 410 cab in used but cared for condition with a padded cover. Big warm sounding 410 but doesn't lack high end should you want it. I have recently acquired a 610 from the same line, which I am enjoying immensely, so it's time to let this go! Delivery might be possible but would far prefer to arrange some kind of meet up on this. I am trekking around the country a bit over the next few months so anything is possible. Replaced castors a few months ago.

  4. It’s got options so you can import/export. Not sure they are made to ‘interface’ with Cubase specifically. I’ve imported midi files then replaced e.g. the bass.
  5. Yeah, but if the core tone is not what I can use, it's not worth the cost for me. I can make use of the Filter and Chorus, would never use the Sub-octave or fuzz, but would use the VTBass side occasionally I suppose. Without a way to back off the BDDI tone its not for me.
  6. Another version of 'Oye Como Va', this one features Jay Anderson on the Bob Mintzer version from the 1998 album, 'Latin In Manhattan'. Readable and closer to the original than the Paolo Meijas/Hans Glawischnig version I posted a few weeks ago. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/oye-como-va-bob-mintzer/
  7. My default setting is about that with tone full. I like both pups up as well for the 'hollow' sound.
  8. As I bought a FlyRig v2 recently on here, I had a quick look at the manual for both the FRv2 & BDDI. There isn't a blend control on the panel, and it doesn't look like there's any facility for it in the manual. Don't forget that you also have the 2 channels of BDDI/VTDI, Compressor & OctaFilter, which can do the AutoWah thing, as well as sub-octave & fuzz. Versatile piece of gear. I couldn't belive how small it was either!
  9. Agree Terry, I can get pretty near my Precisions with my Jazz, front pickup on full, bridge pickup 30%, tone 70%.
  10. Just arrived - first impressions after getting them out the packet are they are far more like round wounds in feel (whilst still coiled) than I expected - not getting the 'buttery' ATM. They feel quite similar to the D'Addario nickels on the bass currently. I'll get it all strung up and report back.
  11. What's the weight of the singer (in Kilderkins) please?
  12. Pedaltrain Nano in top condition with (soft side) velcro attached. Harley Benton ISO-5 PSU velcro'd to the underside. Cracking little PSU - 5 outputs, two are switchable 9/12/18V, I've had it for a while and used it a lot, it's never missed a beat. Full spec and blurb here: https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_powerplant_iso_5_pro.htm Includes replacement myvolts power adapter/adaptor (which cost about £17 as I recall) as well as the original (euro plug with clunky adapter/adaptor - it'll do as a spare). The myvolts needs a polarity reverser, (which is also included), the original doesn't. Includes 5 pedal power leads and a reverse polarity lead for the LEDs. And TWO free velcro cable ties! The LEDs are remote controllable, different colours (to match your shoes), they can fade, they can flash in time to the music, they're utterly stupid, pointless and completely fantastic. Includes soft carrying case with decent sized front pocket and shoulder strap. This has never been used and is in mint condition. I'd rather sell these together, but I'll change my tune if they're still here in a week or two. £75 posted or £70 collected from Bewdley DY12 I go to Brum and Worcester a lot, happy to meet up or possibly deliver. Any questions (about the item) please ask.
  13. Fender MIM Strat in tobacco sunburst with maple neck and fretboard. Very good condition, couple of tiny dinks - please see pics Frets and fretboard in tip top shape - only been used at home for practice, never gigged. Includes a decent Ritter gig bag. Selling on behalf of a friend (if that's not allowed, please let me know), the guitar is in Leeds LS7 £400 posted or £385 collected.

  14. I think that is more the route we are thinking of taking. It's then up to us to take the band to the level where the figures do add up. Part of this is my wanting to just play at a higher level I've spent 15+ years playing in 'bog standard' covers bands covering the same songs everyone else does. Every now and again we've recruited better musicians and the whole band are lifted and suddenly the gigs roll in and people want to join the band. The early days with this band promised something better so I want to recruit well and get back to that feeling. Deps potentially would allow us to continue gigging whist we search and who knows we might be able to recruit one of the deps if they enjoy it enough.
  15. I was the giant in one previous band of hobbits, towering above them all in my 175cm majesty (0.0086992 furlongs, or in more modern units, 5.671323e-17 parsecs).
  16. Never thought I'd let this one go but I've gone Lionel. I bought this from The Bass Gallery last year for 1200 and had my luthier fit John East. Atelier is a boutique Japanese bass maker that doesn't officially export to the UK. A truly exquisite instrument. 30" scale jazz bass, more than just a Mustang on steroids, it has titanium truss rod and a string through body. Made in Japan 2019. I've never seen another with this finish, so probably a custom order. It's a 30th anniversary edition with honeyburst, book matched, spalted face and rosewood fretboard. The preamp has been upgraded to John East (the best there is) with pull passive/tone control or active 2 band EQ. Strung with recent flatwounds, set up with low action. A real collectible gem. Potentially open to trades! Can courier.
  17. Pink Lloyd, the well-known Welsh prog band.
  18. I got this update on a clay tablet, written with a copper stylus. For basschat that’s pretty advanced, none of this scratching into rocks nonsense which is just so last-millennium
  19. You’re better, objectively, than jaco… I mean God?
  20. Hi all. Thanks for letting me in. My daughter has a J&D PB mini bass & wants to swap the tortoiseshell pick guard to a black one. Does anyone know where we could get one? Thanks
