  2. Alto Truesonic TS110A active PA speaker - built-in power stage, so no need for a separate amplifier! Just plug in your mixer, decks, or even run your mics in directly. 10" speaker with HF tweeter. 600W peak / 300W RMS. Lightweight Class D power stage for portability; wedge-shaped cabinet means this can be used as a PA speaker or angled floor monitor. Collection preferred; if you're not far from Kingston-upon-Thames, I may be able to drop it off for you.

  4. The first time I left a band I tied myself in knots about how to do it. Ultimately I realised that it’s entirely fair to everyone involved to leave a band that’s not working (ideally giving them a bit of notice if there are gigs booked etc.) But really, it happens all the time and life goes on. If it’s polite that’s ideal, but even if it’s not polite it’s still the right thing to do.
  5. A sensible approach might be to make one or two along the lines of what you might offer for sale and then relay it round your favourite BC people to get their thoughts before they are returned to you to consider any improvements suggested. That approach worked for Paul Reed Smith - he drove round to shops and gigs with a pair of his first guitars to drum up interest, but I bet he had several versions before being happy enough to sneak into a Santana show to get him to see one. So - a couple of examples for trusted people to try, then if all is well see if the UK youtubers would be interested in doing a quick video. That's probably the modern equivalent of PRS' approach.
  6. Haha, well worked joke. Same as everyone else here. I couldn’t be in a band with members who have these views. (I do have an acquaintance that bought a Skrewdriver punk 7”, but that was morbid curiosity not race hate.)
  7. Wow 😮
  8. Me too. Proudly so.
  9. Look Morrissey you’ve asked once and the answer is still no 😝
  10. It would definitely influence me against being in a band with folk with extremist views and has done in the past. I was in a band where we got a new drummer in, he was OKish talent wise, but once he made a thoroughly racist comment, he was gone.

The builds are in batches. It just depends on whether he's just finished a batch and there's batches for his other models to do before coming back to the Jive. When I ordered mine (some time ago) I think it was 2 or 3 months before I got it. But I also seem to remember being aware that was likely. Chris could make it a bit more obvious on this site though.
  12. Thank you , I’m a bit nerdy about the stuff. I’m really just an old school thumper that likes a big , fat , rich , old school thump , and I’m ok with little Class D heads for home practice , for gigs I break out the tube preamp. I have too many amps , but just the right amount of cabs.
  13. I'll happily test something out and I'm always honest with reviews. I guess the question is, how custom is custom? Are we just doing some minor tweaks to say a Fender or suchlike, or is it, literally anything goes in terms of mods? Pickup routing, circuit replacement? Or is it, a small choice of of body shapes, mods, woods and parts? Any of those things are fine, it's just good to know where it's all going to land and I appreciate that it's all speculation at the moment.
  14. If you are blowing the cross-over I can't see the risk being lowered - presumably the BT3 has the same cross-over for the split with the HF horn? And as an aside - if you are that loud then surely the PA should be doing the hard work instead?
  15. No, I wouldn't work with right wing scumbags, and I'm sure they wouldn't want to work with me - I think I'd confuse them.

  17. Community choir rehearsals have resumed... we have a concert at the end of the month.
  18. No it wouldn't prevent you working with them..... or no you wouldn't work with them?
  19. Yeah as above. No way would I choose to work with someone with such views. A friend of mine (wasn’t in a band with him though) started expressing some very dodgy personal opinions about race, culture etc on Facebook a while ago. The first time it made me wince, the second time I decided to have nothing more to do with him. And I haven’t. I’m not associating myself with stuff like that.
  20. Many thanks for your replies
  21. No, plus I think I would be far too much of a hippie, lefty, woke, lunatic snowflake for them to be in a band with me!
  22. It’s the Korean reissue of the Harmony H22 , a friend has a 62 original , interesting to compare them.
  23. Hi Matt - I may have a pickguard lying around somewhere. I definitely had an L2000 or M2000 (can't remember which) and bought a pickguard off someone on here which fit perfectly. I'll have a dig through and see if I can find it.
  24. First time winning an ebay bid. Back to Cali again! I still think an external comp is better than any digital modellers I’ve used. Locked in and programmed my go-to functions on the Anagram after the latest MIDI update. Just trying to figure out if it’s possible for me to cycle presets on my bass synth using its CTR jack and the Aero’s midi jack. Although I mostly and extensively use green preset 1 only.
  25. There's no way I'm being in a band with someone who's any or all of racist, fascist, homophobic or misogynist. Not "reconsider." It's "never consider."
  26. Another one for the pot..
