  1. Past hour
  2. KZ LS10 pro is what I'm using. Find they did pretty decent, maybe not so strong in the mids as I'd like, and capable of sounding a bit boomy, but feel like a reasonable every point to IEM?
  3. Hope you can make it even if it's just for the morning.
  4. Here’s a shot from NAMM. This gives a big hint at what’s coming in the update:
  5. If you are looking to print this, start to think about orientation and supports on the print bed. Printing top down will give you the smoothest finish BUT you will need supports printed for the two end pieces. Printing top up or on any of the sides, means you will have support pieces inside the cover to remove. Not sure how thick your walls are, but you might struggle with the screw holes on the side (or you might not). The covers are not under any stress so you may be able to use thin walls. You've got rounded corners, fillets on the edges, holes and different extrusions so good job so far. I tend to design with right angled corners and use the fillet tool to round afterwards. This means it's easy to change the radius, there are lots of exceptions to my rule 😁. Also use the offset tool a lot to get easy walls. Looks good for first time in Fusion.
  6. I think you had clear requirements and elicited the key information (I've been retired from IT for six years, but it still shows through... 🙂)... Yeah, if I were to play sax in a band, I'd want something more than the odd 8 bars in a few pieces.
  7. I should be able to make it. I'm just waiting to get the gig dates for the brass band I'll be working with (I will write more about that under my "non rock'n'roll bassist" thread
  8. Me too, otherwise I'd have it GLWTS
  9. Yeah I had a look at it about a year ago, and decided to keep looking. Either it was limited in programmability or there was no ADSR on each step, I can't remember exactly. The Polyend Mess has it's own issues BTW with pitch stability on some steps which I've never encountered with the other pedals (Moment Machine etc.). I'm assuming this is simply a development snag and it'll get addressed in the future at some point.
  10. Don’t Sit Down ’Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair - Arctic Monkeys
  11. Today
  12. I'd buy one if they put the bridge closer to the pickups, and the pickups closer to the neck, like McCartney's Hofner. 🤔
  13. I'm Still Standing - Sir Reginald Of Dwight.
  14. This one is very bitter sweet - on the band stand as part of the local Wassail yesterday, leading community singing along with the local singing club and male voice choir. We had about 500 in the audience all singing along. Sadly that's the last gig we're doing as a band, but there's some good memories. Sorry, it's a rubbish photo.
  15. Jetglo one sold at GuitarGuitar now. Still really interested to hear more about these particularly if a fellow BC'er has one, in the hope that they may see a significant price reduction in the future (like what happened with the 4005XC I bought...)
  16. … even I’m tempted lol!
  17. Dabbled this evening with the idea of 3D printing a replacement colour pickup cover for the MFD 'bucker. No reason to do this other than a) a bit of fun, and b) learning some CAD. This isn't ready for prime time yet because it's a solid block with nowhere for the bobbins to actually go 🙃 Thank you @rwillett for the tip on Fusion - very easy to get up and running.
  18. Thx Paul. I’ll check the measurements but the ones I have are literally 1/2 mil wider than the originals hence hoping someone has bought some they know fit before I buy more. I’ll check though 🤞
  19. I highly recommend a few sessions with a personal trainer. I was in a bad way with two bad (one really bad) goalkeepers knees. Pain all the time, walking upstairs was agony on a good day, and pain enough to disturb sleep or prevent it all together. Doctors advice was to hold off as long as possible then knee replacement surgery. I started with my PT shortly after COVID restrictions were lifted, and I can now squat my own body weight amongst other things but the most important thing is I’m pain free and no surgery.
  20. https://ebay.us/m/VqvqXd V's https://ebay.us/m/oEn7ru Check the Dimensions, First one should be good.
  21. Yesterday
  22. Had a similar issue when looking at cream and white for a couple of bitsa's - might of been pole piece spacing or mounting ear length I'll have a think where i got em for dimension info.
  23. Hello fella, I'm interested in this, I'll chat more tomorrow as I'm just turning in.
  24. Hi. I’m looking to buy some white pickup covers for my Mex P bass to give it a kinda Paul Simenon look. I have 2/3 sets of aftermarket ones but they are too big for the pick guard. Does anyone know if Fender sell them? Can only see black ones and/or - has anyone bought any that actually fit? Thx. Andy
  25. Cracking gig at The Bungalow in Paisley. Depping with a band I used to play with a few years back! Great fun and very very busy! Got to use my newest bass which is the Deaky bass as seen on this very forum! It rocks!!
  26. Sold and Aggie OBP3 preamp to Craig. Good comms, fast payment, headache-free experience. Top bloke
  27. Bought a 2-band MM Stingray from him. Excellent fella and makes a lovely espresso
