Has anyone any experience upgrading the speakers in the Harley Benton BB210T cab ? I’ve read a great thread on Talkbass (see below) about upgrading to a 4 Ohm cab (Oberton speakers) but I really need an 8 Ohm cab as both my power amps don’t go lower (bridged) .. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/harley-benton-bb210t-driver-upgrade.1163109/

£250 plus postage (probably about 12-15 quid, it's quite heavy). Brilliant piece of kit. I used it with various amp modellers and preamps. Sits comfortably on a pedal board and powers cabs of your choosing. Condition is good. There are a couple of superficial marks on it. The fan in this is fairly loud so if you've never heard one It can be quite disconcerting when it fires up! It has double lock stuck on the back at the moment but I can remove and clean if that's a requirement. I'll be sorry to see this go but it's become surplus to requirements and I'm trying to follow my new year's resolution! Thanks for looking, Andy Specifications Product Title: Seymour Duncan PowerStage 170 Product Code: 11901-002 General Power: 170 W @ 4 Ohms Channels: 1 Output Impedance: 4-8 Ohms Controls: Bass, Mid, Treble, Level (Master Volume) Level: 0 dB to 47 dB Treble Control: +/- 13 dB @6.61 kHz Mid Control: +/- 13 dB @712 Hz Bass Control: +/- 13 dB @87 Hz Inputs: 1 x 1/4'' Outputs: 1 x 1/4'' Length: 5'' (127 mm) Dimensions Height: 5.24'' (133 mm) Depth: 2.84'' (72 mm) Weight: 0.9kg (2lbs)

The End of Tonewood ... or Tone-anything!
Downunderwonder replied to BassApprentice's topic in General Discussion
The magnets don't "see" the wood, or your fingers, very well at all. The idea was to block out the air gap so no way fingers could be put into danger. You would still want sub pinkie sized gaps to maintain the air guitar schtick. -

Snazzy Gig Skinz padded carry bag. In used condition and with plenty of padding although the front (with the two pockets on) flap internal padding appears to have disintegrated and sounds like a load of Walkers crisps (other brands available) moving inside when you unzip the flap or turn the bag upside down. So I guess it’s best not to do either of those if you don’t like crisp noises! I have checked thoroughly but sadly couldn’t find any crisps. The internal dimensions of the main compartment are 40cms long, 30cms wide and 12cms deep, so it should be more than large enough for those wonderful modern lightweight heads. Price includes InPost locker service.

At least we're not using cubits, though they did manage to build the pyramids with them. -

I've never known pubs to be so busy in January - another one rammed tonight. They were not very dancy, well there wasn't really the space, so it was a bit of a proggy night instead. We even had a little blast of Genesis - I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe), and I found my lawnmower patch in time 😂 The tools of the trade - Sub5 Stingish bass, GT-6B, Rumble v3 500. Black DMs. Some lovely compliments too. It's always nice when people acknowledge the bass. We have a couple of weekends off now.
