Near is better than nothing! We did have a stupidly long sofa some years ago that got 'some' of them on... Half of these have been traded for other things since the below photos, but at least they're 'on' a sofa!

This chap shows how he uses AI to his advantage and in fact, how it can be useful. The video is forty minutes long, and personally I don't like his musical examples, but that's not really the point.

Ah, the London toilet circuit. I used to play at a boozer in Tooting where the route to the toilet was through the band to a door at the back of area where the band played. There would be a constant procession of people stumbling between the musicians to relieve themselves (cue announcements over the PA of "Hope you can hear us in there, We can certainly hear you"), Happy days.

Thanks for the replies. It does appear there is something wrong with my one then as from what's being described, I'm sure I would be able to hear the difference if it was working properly. I'll have a look at the switch wiring today to see if there's anything obviously wrong and go from there.

GRBass AT208 with Cover - £500 Delivered in UK. Purchased from Bass Direct in January this year. In perfect condition with official GRBass cover. It even has the stickers and labels attached. I don't have the original box but will ship it in the box from my GRBass 1x12 which fits it perfectly. Only used twice on gigs. This is the latest version with the additional switch to disable the tweeter. It's a wonderful light and loud cabinet. Only selling as I simply have one GRBass cab too many having also bought an AT210 and AT112. I love these full carbon cabs. Potential buyers are welcome to try out in Glasgow.

Korg B2 + Korg PU-2 + Gator GKB-88-SLIM + RTX 93 + RTX KBX, everything in almost new condition and, of course, fully working. Replaced by a Studiologic Numa Nero, which was itself replaced by a Studiologic SL88 GT Mk2, as I only used it on vacation or as a master keyboard. NO TRADES! PRICE NON-NEGOTIABLE! Asking price, fully insured delivery with tracking number, to your home, for the following European countries (for other countries, please contact us): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding French overseas territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom: €375 (£325 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros; the new price of the whole set is €686)! Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU, just ask. It will be delivered complete with PDF user manuals, namely: Korg B2 (with power supply and music holder), new price: 419 Euros (https://www.thomann.de/be/korg_b2_black.htm), Korg PU-2 (optional triple pedal), new price: 75 Euros (https://www.thomann.de/be/korg_pu_2.htm), Gator GKB-88-SLIM (semi-rigid carrying case), new price: 109 Euros (https://www.thomann.de/be/gator_gkb_88_slim.htm), RTX 93 (adjustable keyboard stand), new price: 37.50 Euros (https://www.woodbrass.com/stands-clavier-rtx-x93-stand-p20358.html), RTX KBX (adjustable bench), new price: 45.50 Euros (https://www.woodbrass.com/banquettes-clavier-rtx-kbx-p17536.html). A grand total of 686 Euros, new. I'm leaving everything, in impeccable, almost new condition (I'm a maniac for my gear), for €375 Euros, delivered to your home or picked up at my place, in which case I'll be offering a Lewitz/Revoltage HP710 (closed-back headphones), new price 23.90 Euros (https://www.muziker.be/fr/revoltage-hp710). The Korg B2 also has the advantage of being able to act as an audio return via its USB port, which is very practical for using it as a master keyboard on a PC, and having the sound coming directly from the keyboard. Link to the Korg B2 website: https://www.korg.com/fr/products/digitalpianos/b2/ Due to severe back problems (67% officially disabled because of it) plus left and right shoulders injury, without mentioning a painful tendonitis on the right arm, I'm selling all the stuff I'm not using like this one. I've also considerably lowered the price for a quick sale. Don't hesitate to ask for more details, but, please, before asking read my ad first as the answer is certainly already in it! A while back, I found a hodgepodge with a Fender Roger Waters Precision Bass neck ‘deep in Wallonia’ for a véry good price, and I was already toying with the idea of adding a second P for a while. After some very intense searching, I stumbled on a dusty Italian webshop, where I found an Allparts PBF-CAR body (a colour that has been out of the range for a while). Then I started gathering some parts left & right, with the aim of creating a '64-'66 hybrid without breaking the back. A day with an assortment of screwdrivers, measuring devices and a soldering iron later, this is what came out. It's quite a fierce one. Where my white one with flatwounds sounds very warm and fat, this one sounds diametrically opposite: angry, fierce, raunchy and punchy. I'm happy with it... although I'm still itching for a neck with a veneer rosewood fingerboard, and that neck on a Slab66 body. With flatwounds on this one, and rounds on the '66. - Neck: Fender Roger Waters (44.5mm nut width, maple cap, vintage frets) - Tuners: Gotoh FB-30-LP (the full-size tuners with the large mounting plate) - Body: Allparts PBF-CAR (Alder. CAR with a silver-coloured undercoat) - Pickguard: Fender '62RI (stark white, not mint green) - Pickup: Fender Vintera II '60 (I was very surprised at how good those Vintera '60 P-basses sounded. The intention is to bake in a greybobbin in the future, but this pickup is also extremely good, much better than the Vintera '50) - Covers: Fender ‘Pure Vintage’ (I wouldn't be me if I didn't install measures to restrict playing freedom on my instrument, I just removed them for the photo-opp) - Bridge: Fender ‘Pure Vintage’ - Wiring: Homemade with CTS, clothwire, Orangedrop,...

There are not so many amp models in the Anagram, but they are enough for me. The only two I use are the Peggy Bass (SVT) and Leo Bass (Bassman) blocks, combined with the Vintage Microtubes block, just to add a bit of hair on the toes. The Harmonic Booster is also very useful. I also (mostly) use a free IR from Olympic, their B15 cab for the DI sound. I get the tone I want to PA that way. The amp out is without IR. I use my amps mostly as stage monitoring. Coming to effects, I only use chorus, flanger, envelope, octave and a tad of reverb in different combinations. In Stomp Mode I have chorus, envelope and octave on respective foot switch. In scene mode I have the first footswitch clean, the second chorus+reverb a bit boosted for solo, the third is a"synth patch" with octave+envelope+flanger. Mostly I set the BUS compressor AFTER the octave and envelope to tame them a bit, but before the reverb. All other tone shaping comes from my hands and controls on my basses. One thing I may get is the new MXR Synth pedal and put it in the effects loop. Here is my main gig rig; small and very potent. (No! No beverage on rig during gig!)

Separate volume controls annoy me no end. Pan knob please. -
Some fuse holders, especially the ones integrated in the power socket, have a place for a spare fuse, did you check that? That said, you should always have some spare fuses at hand. If it's only a blown fuse, it will be the more expensive one. 😉 As @Stub Mandrel said, inrush current or a huge surge can blow a fuse instantly...

Here it is (you'll have to excuse my lousy old digital camera): And I love it! But not unconditionally. First of all it weights about a ton, being solid Maple, so after about half an hour of play my back starts to ache. Heavier than any of my basses, even my full scale Ash body one. Also I really don't like the bridge Seymour Duncan JB pickup, it sounds ok in single coil mode in conduction with the neck Seymour Duncan '59 pickup, and the neck pickup sounds ok soloed as well. But I am no doubt going to replace the pickups at some point, for a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, as this guitar was originally equipped with from stock, and then for the neck a Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz pickup. Also being used to playing bass for a long while I really struggle with the narrow string spacing, and have to mind my fingers constantly, also the thin strings got a tendency to carve into my fingers, so actually much harder physically to play for me than my bass. But I take some practice will help. Otherwise I absolutely love it, and is definitely pleased with the buy.

A very good point. I notice at Hawkwind gigs, where they use very powerful rgb lasers, great care has clearly been taken to keep them well above the heads of the audience and to make sure they "land" safely.

And a way higher nut alongside a full length string retainer as he was playing with a bottleneck all the time (as mentioned earlier). Saw Morphine with Moondog Jr opening, with the two bands playing together a full encore: one of the best "rock" concerts I've ever attended. Mark Sandman was really gifted.
