  2. Give them an inch and they’ll take a kilometre…? 🤓 Sorry.
  3. I will knock £20 off the asking price for the pedal if I get to keep (and sell on!) the Gigrig converter
  4. Thanks, It really turned out well Paul compared to when I got it.
  5. I can hear the alarm bells ringing from Northumberland!
  6. That looks great Brian
  7. Bass of Doom at a great price. It's a lined fretless with vintage distress. Has been great to get me started on fretless. 8. Thanks for the replies so far. I had to go and check to see whether my fretted bass even has side dots, so I guess I don’t look at them very often!
  9. When I first started playing bass in a covers band I had to learn about 40 songs quickly. It's only recently that ive had to play them again and cant believe how far off the mark some of my bass lines were in places (on the whole ok though). And I played with that band for 15 years. No one ever said anything.
  10. Got muddled up with the other Gibson shortie regarding weight. This is a still very respectably light 3.5kg.
  11. Ascension - Fear Factory
  12. Price Drop to £150.
  13. Decided to sell individually as well as possible job lot(s) £120 for all 14 pads or £15 each plus postage. Thanks
  14. U.K. postage for this week a coming in around £110 on Shiply.com which would make the cab, 550 delivered so I’m happy to half the expense and sell for 500 delivered.
  15. U.K. postage is around 70 on Shiply so would let this go for £400 delivered Thanks
  16. I have owned one of these in the past. Don't be put off by the shape - I found mine surprisingly ergonomic - it balances well and the top edge of the body formed what I can only describe as a "shelf" for my forearm to rest on. Really quite pleasant playing experience, and sounded good too. I felt enriched and enlightened by the experience of owning and playing one. And yes, you feel like a bloomin' rock god when you're playing it - you will throw shapes and pull faces. GLWTS!
  17. Indeed. Put your foot down. Give them an inch and they’ll take a mile.
  18. It wasn't the guitarist who cut the solo off at seven bars, it was the singer crashing in at a random point. Verses and choruses would be added, deleted, or reordered completely randomly, the three of us got very adept at switching.
  19. I’m having a big clear out of basses, strings and pedals. Pretty much anything that I am no longer going to be using so that I can reduce my collection to just 1 main bass, a back up and the pedals that I need. Boss LMB-3 - no box - £60 Behringer UO300 Octaver - £25 Behringer BDI21 Preamp - never left the house - £20 TC Electronic Blood Moon Phaser - £30 All pedals have velcro underneath ready to attach to a pedal board. Collection welcome and postage will come in at £5 per pedal.
  20. @Hugsonicjust bought an amp from me, I complicated matters with a couple of “no-shows” before Steve got dibs, he reacted really fast & smooth & I really appreciate how easy he made the transaction. Highly recommended member, thank you very much 👍
  21. Accepting resonable offers
  22. The Only Way is Up - Yazz
  23. Likewise, probably. Fortunately, these days, I’m spoilt with splendid baked goods, Lady Ez being quite the whizz with a sweet, cake, confection.
