For sale is a set of EMG J Jazz Bass pickups for 4 string bass. Comes with the solderless controls and wiring kit. Doesn't include the Jazz control plate sorry, using this just to keep it all together safely for the moment. I think I threw the box away but can package them securely and all instructions are available from the EMG website. Had these in my Jazz Bass for a year and saw very little use as I tend to gig mainly 5 string and precision basses. Decided I wanted to change back to passive pickups, so these are up for sale. Great sounding pickups and completely noiseless!

For sale is my Rockboard Quad 4.1 pedlaboard fitted with the Rockboard Mod 1 patchy bay. Used this as my pedalboard for the last 5 years and it has been great, very light but sturdy and very easy to build a good pedalboard with. It's covered in velcro that can of course be removed. Also included is a Pedaltrain gig bag that came with the Pedaltrain that I recently bought. There is a small hole in the case which I've pictured and doesn't include the shoulder strap but other than that it's never been used. This could probably be stitched or glued back together... not that I'm an arts and crafts expert though! It just happens to fit the rockboard Quad 1 perfectly so thought I would list it as one whole thing.

They became independent from Fender in 1991 and started producing the Factor basses themselves again. They're still going and are producing Factors on a to-order basis, although Phillip Kubicki himself died in 2013.

Clearing out a lot of stuff that is just sitting in boxes under my desk. For sale is my EBS Microbass in Bass preamp and DI. Bought it on here a few years ago and used it for a number of tours for FOH and practice at home until it started to momentarily cut out on channel A intermittently but never for long, but long enough to not want to use it for live. Amazing sounding preamp and speaker sim and incredibly versatile. Probably could be used as a practice solution for somebody or perhaps somebody with tech knowledge or an interest in repairing things could fix it. £75 delivered.

Decided to put up my awesome (and unfortunately no longer made) Spector LT5 in Violet Fade for sale. This has been my main touring bass for the last two years and has seen some action at Glastonbury, Green Man and many more festivals that I can't even remember! Despite being my main bass I have really looked after the bass and it's in excellent condition. No dings or dents just light surface scratches that every guitar gets from being played! The bass has a 3 piece maple neck with alder body wings and a very nice flamed maple top, which is almost holographic and almost impossible to photo! 😂 The bass has a very nice ebony fingerboard, MOP Spector crown inlays, Gotoh lightweight tuners, brass nut, Dunlop straplocks, Custom wound to Spector spec Bartolini pickups and Darkglass preamp, and thr finish is so good it's ridiculously reflective and shiny.. again making it difficult to take good photos! The bass plays very nicely and sounds phenomenal. The bass is 35" scale and the low B is the best I've experienced on a high end bass. Currently strung with Dunlop Super Bright Steels. Sale includes the Spector gig bag. Looking for £1800 due to excellent condition and I think collection is needed. I have the boxes it came in but I don't feel comfortable shipping it without a hardcase.

From the same album, the complete John Goblin part for the opening track, 'For You For Me'. Great for practicing octaves. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/for-you-for-me-jon-anderson/

You might well be right; I'm getting too old and confused to understand what young people really want. (That was the basis of my defense in court, anyway.) That whole math rock, new metal thing is unlistenable for me so I don't pay too much attention In terms of sales numbers I have no idea, but traditional designs still seem to proliferate in the mainstream.

It's basically going to be an updated version of the Nemesis heads, not the WT design. They don't have valve preamps, for a start. The Nemesis stuff was great though, and was probably the first ever proper lightweight range of bass gear. The FET preamp sounded reasonably "valve-y" too. The Nemesis 8x10" combo (yes, combo) was one of the coolest bass rigs I ever tried, and it sounded massive.

For sale Great condition and full working order, German made lightweight cab. I've been using this as a stand alone cab for the last 6 months and it handles most gigs easily. Very tight sounding cab with multiple options for tweeter tweaking via the dial located inside the carry handle. I have lots of packaging if postage is required. Cheers.

Personally, if this comes to pass, I'm expecting that Fender will re-release the range under the Fender banner, but rename them the "GL-2000", "GL-2500", etc as a nod to where they came from. If they did that, hopefully they go back to the cleaner look of the non-CLF versions, with the rear-mounted controls and without the weird lumpy metal control plate. I'd love to see the brand survive as G&L, but I'd be alright with that, I think. I'd actually be OK with the idea that they might do what they did with the Jazz Bass Plus back in the 90s after they acquired Kubicki, and use the G&L pickups and electronics in a Jazz Bass.

Ha! Yes, that'd make so many people rage quit in protest and would be amazing!!

Up for grabs is my Moon JJ4. Ebony fretboard, brass nut, the body looks like alder... The preamp is the legendary Bartolini TCT, the original Marcus Miller preamp. Мany scratches and dents on the body. The neck is straight, the frets are polished. 4.240 kg Hard to beat (at any price) in terms of sound, playability and craftmanship.
