  2. Jam Rattler and DOD FX 91 Bass OD for sale Rattler is a great RAT clone for Bass with a really useful blend dial to keep the bottom end in. Load of online demos on YouTube. I've got the original box and packaging with this one. There's not a scratch on it. FX 91 is the first Bass fx I ever bought from good old AI music in Manchester on Oxford Road. Rattler is £145 posted royal mail (recorded). DOD FX 91 is 55 posted (recorded) Both have large velcro strip on the back but easily removed. No trades thanks. For collection in south Manchester knock a fiver off each price.
  3. ToneRider The Duke J2 Set with staggered AlNiCo 5 pole pieces as new. Check my ads. NO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France (excluding French overseas territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom: €70 EUR (£65 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros) and, as it will be asked, the new price is around €95 here in E.U. Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU, just send me a PM. In perfect working order and brand new condition. As I've stopped playing bass and focusing on piano only, I'm selling surplus to requirement. Don't hesitate to ask for more details, but, please, before asking read my ad first as the answer is certainly already in it! Reminder of the legislation on sales between individuals: Second–hand goods that you buy from private individuals are not covered by EU consumer rules, which means there is no guarantee and no return possible => (https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/shopping/shopping-consumer-rights/index_en.htm#from-private-individual-1)
  4. ETS Tuning Fork Bass 5 Big (brass material) Rounded chrome, 18 mm strings spacing. Beware that the saddles were modified by a previous owner to go lower (but are working perfectly as is for standard B to G tuning, or you can interchange them to go lower on the treble side, or turn them upside down to start from fresh). The shining chrome bridge plate is new and has never been fitted, only the satin chrome saddles were modified. It can be used for stringing through the body. Check my ads. NO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France (excluding French overseas territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom: €80 EUR (£90 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros) and, as it will be asked, the new price is around €200 and they are very hard to source. Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU, just send me a PM. In perfect working order and brand new condition for the plate, only the saddles have been used on a different bridge. As I've stopped playing bass and focusing on piano only, I'm selling surplus to requirement. 5. I have a pair of these... for me they are absolutely the best within their price bracket though I understand headphone choice is quite a subjective matter! I suppose @Hellzero is OK to deal with too... 😜
  6. Mud_Tiger_Feet_Live_TOTP_1974.mp4
  7. I’d stick with it Daryl but start looking for other opportunities and/or deps. Seems you’re still getting regular work with the current gig so go with the flow.
  8. HOW COULD YOU COVER KNOCKIN ON HEAVENS DOORS BEOFRE GUNS AND ROSES EVEN RELEASED IT (i am joking)
  9. New York Slate Of Mind - Billy Joel
  10. 2 levy bass straps, awesome quality, had a bass cull and these are now spares. 1 black, 1 brown. Both in great condition, no real blemishes, just a little around the button hole. Shown in pictures. Any questions, just ask. £48 each (posted)
  11. And just when you thought they’d peaked they go and release ‘Angel Dust’ a few years later! Superb stuff.
  12. Unless you need the extra functions of the Wing, I would stay with the XR18. It’s not my favourite mixer but if it works for you it saves the hassle of learning a new board. Once you go up a step like that the extra functions can take a lot of time to master unless you go on a training course. That can cost almost the price of a new mixer. If you are minded to change, look at the AH ranges, but again learning curve and £££. Do a cost benefit analysis.

  14. The DM610 is a large bookshelf/standmount speaker from renowned hi-fi brand B&W, featuring a well-braced 30-litre sealed cabinet with 8-inch mid-bass driver. The larger driver and extra cabinet space create a much better low end range than from most similar speakers. This model allows for either bi-wiring or bi-amplification. These speakers present clean tight bass response, surprisingly clear mids for such a large driver and the pleasant highs that the well-designed B&W tweeter at that time was famous for. They can be driven quite loud, enough for the physical effect of the bass to be felt without audible distortion or a sense of sound compression. Both speakers are in Very Good condition, especially for their vintage. All-original, complete with full grilles (one of which has a small hole, shown in the final photo). Only £125. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred. Here comes the science bit… Type: 2-way closed, shelf speaker Colour: Ash black veneer Dimensions: 490 x 236 x 303 mm (H x W x D) Weight: 7.8 kg Recommended amplifier power: 30-150 W Frequency response: 70 - 20,000 Hz (±2 dB) Crossover: 2500 Impedance: 4 Ohm
  15. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  16. I've made one of these. I'm still not sure exactly why, haven't decided on a use for it yet. To decode the keypresses, I'd use a MM74C922 encoder which will generate a 4-bit number depending on which of 16 buttons is pressed so you don't have to try to connect 13 switches to the Pico. Then you need to connect the switches between the X and Y connections like so: X 1 2 3 4 Y 1 C C# D D# 2 E F F# G 3 G# A A# B 4 C Fn1 Fn2 Fn3 That gives you 0 for C, 1 for C#, etc. As far as the challenge goes, it's difficult to say. Strict observation would give a Tier 2 fail on purchase of the MidiMuso kit, as that's where the intent to create a MIDI controller manifests itself in a purchase. Up till then you could have just been building a Mandelbrot display https://www.instructables.com/Mandelbrot-Set-on-Pi-Pico-ILI9341/.
  17. Are we really doing this 😂
  18. Beauty, too few builders use the classic SC PUPs in anything other than 51 RIs or derivatives (although Alpha do it very nicely), and it's a lovely sound 👍
