  1. Past hour
  2. Serial number dates it to 2015, I don’t have an accurate weight but it feels a touch lighter than my Sterling, which is 4.2kg. Cheers Steve, are you sure you don’t need a backup? 😉
  3. Sennheiser IE100. I've likely sacrificed a bit of tone (possibly) but tbh they fit, I get a good seal (with standard buds) and as a result they trump the KZs but are double the price... but still only £80!

  6. This transcription inspired me to call this bass-heavy Gary Moore tune on my next jam session @ConstantineIsslamow
  7. Could someone with a Mark Bass Little Mark 250 please look inside their amp, and note down the values, voltage and orientation of the Capacitors C5 and C6 , located close to the output Transistors . ( or does anyone have a circuit diag ? ) PLEASE only do this if you are competent and safe to do so , make sure the amp is unplugged , and do NOT poke inside . The Caps should be clearly visible to a knowledgeable person . Thanks , Mike
  8. No, It was a Fender Elite Jazz V
  9. I’m good thanks Julian. You take care too. Oh yes, I’m certainly enjoying the bass
  10. Sheer madness!
  11. Sound Control in Dundee; I bought a Gibson Flying V there in the early 90s (worn out and so "cheap") and it was a source for tutorial books, accessories etc. when I was an undergraduate there. They closed fairly recently after spending years under another name: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/money/14363301/music-store-to-shut-after-20-years-dundee/
  12. Tilt eq Quad pre on the corner!
  13. Advertising something that you are not being paid. Canikon, Fenquier...
  14. My understanding is that you can attach as many bolts/inserts as you like. They are not pre-drilled.
  15. I guess if the average Joe Public looks in a music shop, everything looks shiny and new. I'm in the fortunate position where the singer/guitarist I've worked with for about 35 years regularly says that I have the best bass sound he's ever heard. However, that's just in trio/duo situations. In the live tribute show, my sound is thoroughly buried by five other noise makers. Ah well.
  16. Using a Fender strap on a bass that isn’t a Fender
  17. The Fender tone stack is bass and treble cut to 2/10, mids 10 /10 for as flat as possible.
  18. Charlie Jemmet’s Cashel Street Christchurch
