It is, but they don't have to cover returns costs if it's unwanted. In this case they're saying there's no defect..... if defective they would be obliged to cover return postage. Tricky one -
I read somewhere that the output volume of the DI on the Rumble 100 changes when changing the master volume level of the amp. And that it doesn't happen on the 500. Is this the case @Japhet, @casapete? I can't remember where I read this but it could be handy info if weighing up options.

I still have a 63 Hofner Verythin that I picked up 30 years ago for a song, plays lovely, bit battered and not all OG but the neck is a joy until you hit the dusty end of the dusty end, sounds great and light as a feather. Way nicer than the recent VT offering imho. Admittedly, does not get played as much as it should, rocked it in the 90's in a grunge outfit, and sounded great in a stones trib band, but she is a very old lady now and a bit fragile for pub gigs 🙂 *waits for Behringer to re-issue for £9.50

cheap to clear never got round to doing it, its still as new in the box its get everything, all you need is time. the top is really nice to be fair i was going to brown stain it. to highlite it. -

On the subject of "words of one song to the tune of another", last night at the Cavern in Tamworth had the house band (really excellent drummer and guitarist, and me on bass bringing the quality down) backing various singers - one did "Billie Jean" to the tune of "Smells like teen spirit". -
Bought for some gear I never so technically new it been out of the original box (which I’ll ship in) I’ve managed to missing the shoulder strap if I find it I’ll chuck it in but assume it’s missing price includes UK Mainland delivery -

Hello everybody! I am a proud owner of an Akai Deep Impact since 1999 and I just got a FI4. Is it possible to trigger the FI4's synth sounds with a MIDI keyboard while in bass mode? I plan to use the FI4 in bass mode (replacing the Akai DI in my pedalboard) but I'd like to use a keyboard for a song; it would be very handy to have a MIDI keyboard connected to the FI4 MIDI IN and play without having to go to the pedal's global menu between songs. Thank you!

That’s a disappointing response, maybe point them towards this thread where experienced bass players are mostly in agreement that it’s not acceptable , really hope you can get this sorted -
Recently bought this on here, but something has come up so I’m looking at moving it on. Really fantastic bass - amazing sounding Delano Jazzbucker pickups each with separate coil tap (single coil/series/parallel), 2B Delano preamp - treble cut works as a passive tone control in both active & passive modes making this an incredibly versatile bass. The build quality is incredibly high, and it’s in excellent condition with just the odd bit of marking on the finish from general playing stopping it still being ‘brand new’. And CPC have delivered some stuff. As Phil has already suggested, it neatly fits. The middle of the grille is raised (or the edges are lowered), I'll have a look and work out what to do here. Cut and flatten or flatten and cut? As the weather is miserable, no painting today.But I have worked out how to integrate the rubber feet into the corner clamps and to allow two of these cabs to be on top of each other. Not sure that's a sensible idea, but the option is there. Rob

I don’t know how many days you have had it , but as I say that is unacceptable on so many levels ..especially the attitude! I don’t know how long you have left to return it , but take it up with your credit/ debit card …and then crucify them on the sites I have mentioned right away ! -

That is Bs! The bass has come from a bad batch of poor quality control ! First thing I would do if it were me , is to condemn them on trustpilot , farce book , X etc .You could also point them to this topic here ! If you are still in the timeframe , then you have your consumer rights . You’ve done me a favour by mentioning Guitar Guitar , who will be avoided by me in the future . On a slight tangent ; I did post a topic about cort space 5 a couple of weeks ago ,regarding the fluctuating prices. I’ve since seen that the price for the green one has gone down to £679 .However I had a look at the picture and it seems ‘off’ . What I mean by that is it looks like these basses are being churned out by the shed load without much due care and attention imho ..similar to yours ! It’s put me off of wanting one now . If I do go for a 5 string , I’ll choose a completely different brand of headless . -

Send it back if you aren't happy with it, if you do want the same model ask the shop to take photos of the other basses in stock of that kind and see if any are any better John 😎 -

For me I`d like Ashdown to issue a combo to rival the Fender Rumble, power-wise. -
I just used various grades of sandpaper on a cork block, plus the paper held in my fingers to get the roll off more rounded. A bit hit and miss TBH but I’ve seen my local luthier do it that way. Of course, he has infinitely more skill than I do but I wasn’t too disappointed with the result.
