  1. Past hour
  2. Excellent device, but I don't need two of them. Does exactly what you'd expect. Run out of thing to say.
  3. Very decent piece of rack gear, equally suitable for studio or live use (I've used it both ways). The two multi-way cable clips on top are there by self-adhesive stuff and will remove. I found them useful enough to choose to leave them there for the new owner. The original box is present, as seen in the photos, but not the polystyrene inserts. I'll use bubble wrap for postage. Original spec: https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=0602-AAI
  4. Very little used since Covid, time to move it on. Comes with all the little bits of cabling etc. Condition is as near pristine as you're likely to find. Full specs are here: https://philjonesbass.net/cms/product-ha-1/
  5. Little used since Covid, probably time to move this on. Yes, I do realise that these cost £800 new. Yes, I do know that £300 is laughably cheap. Dimensions (w x h x d): 120 x 10 x 80 cm, 47,2“ x 3,9“ x 31,5“ Weight: 21,5 kg, 47,4 lbs I'm also aware that Bass Direct do not have these in stock, and that they're getting quite hard to find. The Bass Direct blurb runs: Bass players, Keyboard players and DJ’s using In-Ear systems on stage suffer from lacking punch and sub frequencies which prevent them from controlling their playing. How do I sound out there? Am I always tight with the drummer? I can’t hear myself! Most of you might be familiar with this …The BassBoard is the ideal subwoofer floor for stages, studio, rehearsal room or even bedroom. Two TS300 transducers moving the bass into your body. A great experience many musician are not willing to do without any longer. Feeling your instrument and what you play has never been as intense before. The additional phones out and the vibration-proof suspension of the base plate let you rehearse at home late at night without bothering your neighbours. This is a big, heavy thing that doesn't fit any 'normal' size of cardboard box. The knock-down price is for collection from Harrow HA1, or will met within a 30-min drive for a pint.

  6. I got this from our own KiOgon a few weeks ago and it was just as good as you'd expect... but I hadn't checked or discussed the layout of the Yamaha bass they were going in so had to solder a bit of extra cable to accommodate the wider spacing. Also had to take off the jack socket it came with to wire to the barrel one on the Yamaha. Now surplus to needs. Will sell for half the going price, posted. Any questions give me a shout.
  7. Many thanks for the advice and info. No offence meant to the seller and I have bought and sold a fair bit of guitars/amp/pedals etc over the years (don't all musicians have GAS tendancies...?). Second hand is always a bit of a punt. I have sh stuff that I bought 15 years ago and still works perfectly, but then I bought a portable mixer for the church a while ago for 'off site gigs' that worked perfectly for a couple of months and is now very unreliable and too old to be serviceable. It's often a balance between the costs/risks/benefits/good luck of sh, or the comfort of a warranty on new stuff.
  8. I had the drummer in the car too, we needed the passenger seat! Thankfully a cut-down cocktail kit rather than any bigger setup. And the gig was up on the moors in Cumbria during a particularly icy spell - that wasn't a fun drive...
  9. Orange Fur Coat!
  10. Good to know.
  11. Just sold a pedal to this chap. Very smooth affair start to finish. Buy/sell with confidence!
  12. That's a lovely sheen you have managed to achieve there, looks great.
  13. Absolutely brilliant basses. Best mass produced P Fender have released IMO. B width nut, Quarter Pounders and Ash body. Perfection on a P and they sound mighty!!!!
  14. I'm in the "electronics make more of a difference than wood selection" train of thought, so I wouldnt think chambering a body is going to make a huge change to the sound. YMMV However before starting to change the body you could get a rough idea of the weight savings you would get. Work out the volume of wood to be removed multiply it by the weight of the type of ash and it will give you an idea of whether the work will be worth it. Maybe thinning the body from the back and shaving the neck if possible as well may help 🤷‍♂️ On basses I've modded in the past I've found that the hardware / electronics / pickups fitted had a bigger effect on overall weight. It was a case of saving an ounce here and there as opposed to a lot of weight in one area. Also making the body much lighter may make the neck dive. I'm interested in seeing if you go ahead with the project an how you achieve the results. Good luck 👍
  15. Excellent! We’re no longer a club, we’re now a movement!
  16. The hall can hold 90...it might just need to be a bit different.
  17. I do not. If you go to the Cog custom section on the website and scroll right to the bottom, it is the very last pedal on the page! I sold it on some years ago (along with my entire pedal and bass collection) during some financial hardship, which is thankfully long behind me now. I do miss it greatly though. I plan to get another made by him one day. Tom was cool enough to do a few customs for me around that time. The fuzz he made me (Meatgrinder) is on his site as well, but he did a chorus for me as well that wasn't listed (pretty much a bass tuned DOD Ice Box) as well as a tremolo based on the Boss PN-2 with some additional craziness. They were all killer. The phaser though, sounded just like this BM-13... which is why I'm so interested in it!
  18. I have this model. The finish is lovely, the weight and balance are great and people always comment positively when I gig it. Buy with confidence @neepheid is a great guy and this is a lovely instrument.
  19. Is it bolt on or thru neck? If it's bolt on it's probably a Performer. If it's thru neck then it's either an NS2000/4 or possibly a Legend Classic.
