  3. It's hard to shift them but on the other hand, the sale of one CD generates about the same profit as having 1,377,339 people listen to the album on Spotify.
  4. NOW £80 POSTED Mackie 802 VLZ3 mixer Cracking little desk, I've used it for home recording and gigs - sounds great for both. Tons of features, great mic preamps, full working order, complete with PSU (euro plug with adaptor). Selling as I'm just not using it any more. Manual here http://kunstencentrumbelgie.com/overbelgie/802VLZ3_OM.pdf I'm in Manchester over the next couple of weeks - happy to meet at a services or even drop off if you're near the right motorway. Trades - I'm interested in Jamerson's original P Bass or *possibly* a compressor pedal - feel free to offer anything else.

  5. I have one, it is very good, possible to plug in your mic for your volume and eq and then a line out to the main PA ….it took me a while to sort that out. I position it on a low mic stand about 3 feet away facing upwards to me/my mic.
  6. Every Ampeg amp ever in one pedal! (According to Tech 21) https://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp-2/vtbass/ The person the person I bought it off bought it off (or should that be the person from whom the person from whom I bought it bought it?) had a DI out retrofitted - pro job, looks good, works a treat. It has an extra jack socket on the output side, which I'd guess is a Direct Output? There's also an extra switch/button which I imagine is either a pre/post or ground lift for the DI. Velcro on the back (prickly side) The battery compartment cover doesn't stay put. Sorry about that. There are some marker pen marks (not mine) on everything except 'level' Comes with instructions/sample settings card. Fifty quid posted
  7. A very 1970s Mustang Bass on EBay. Poo brown and insensitively modified with a Carvin pickup up at the neck. The inevitable clicky phase/coil split switch is there too. No need to worry about fakery here! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116563598473?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=kKGvwWPtR3C&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=74jSvcDiTL6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  10. I was coming here to suggest Dan too, this is right in his wheelhouse and I'd like have the utmost confidence in his work, both in the design and the standard of construction. He'd the real deal.

  12. It is a beautiful looking bass. That body wood is gorgeous. Surprised this hasn't sold yet. Dave
  13. Is anyone near Richtone Music? I’ve seen something that I wouldn’t mind someone casting an eye over if you’re planning a trip!

  14. The guys I play with are not selling CD's like they used to. They still make CD's but in smaller numbers, but it's downloads and streaming that has taken over.
  15. a) The drummer should be able to vary his volume. b) These guys have been playing since the 60's and don't know how loud they are? c) If you are all facing each other then the person opposite is getting full blast and the player isn't. That's not ideal. d) Again, after playing since the 60's no one should be guessing about anything.
  16. Hi folks As part of my ongoing gear clear out I have a Warwick Rockpower NT 1 power supply rated at 9V 200mA. £7.50 inc P&P to UK mainland.

  17. Lovely bass, classic look. GLWTS
  18. CIOKS (I believe it's pronounced 'Chucks') Grip. I *think* it's a V2 - it has four holes on the side that connects to your PSU. It comes with 4 (four) screws but no Allen key I'm afraid. Ten quid posted.
  19. I am SO proud of this one. I got this album when it came out and have always loved this track particularly but there was no way I was ever going to be able to get it down on paper (I couldn't read then, anyway). Moises has allowed my to get right in there and I was able to listen to the details almost forensically and I think I have got almost every ghost note. There are a couple of bars that sound linked he has flubbed a couple of notes but that can only be heard in a remixed version slowed down ay 50% (I had never noticed them before and it may be that I am not hearing it properly. If that is the case then I apologise to Mr. Willis unreservedly). I think I have got it pretty much. This is the complete Gary Willis bass performance of the tune 'Caribbean' from the first Tribal Tech album, #Spears' (1985 - that's 40 years ago - unbelievable). https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/caribbean-tribal-tech/
  20. You absolute Monster!
  21. You don't have to explain, Chris. Sometimes, you just have to do it because it is there ......
  22. Lovely sounding bass, but the only thing I could think about is how much of a nightmare that paint job is and how hard it will be to keep clean and not gloss up 😅 Nice review though man!
  23. The top left pedal is a Dark Father preamp from VVCo. They sadly seem to be in the process of closing down owing to a death in the team. It’s a weird one but sounds quite good once it’s dialled in. The chain is: T-65 (Octave) > Grand Tarkin (Fuzz) > Resurrector (HM-2 Hybrid) > Han Taun (OD) > Dual Knightfall (Distortion) > Tarkinfall (Distortion/Fuzz Hybrid) > Destroyer (Fuzz) > No Moon (Dirt Galore) > Royal Jelly (OD/Preamp) > Hyperspace (Chorus) > Darth Fazer (Phaser > Rebel Rebel (Delay) > Blue Harvest (Reverb) > Dark Father (Preamp) T-65 effects loop: Boba Fuzz (Fuzz) The big pedal at the front is their Darth Jelly from last year. I have a similarly themed Harmochorus from the previous year too which isn’t on this board.
