  2. What can I say but agree, they sound great. A bass player whom I depped for a few times, whilst she zig-zagged around the world backpacking, has decided she is not playing bass anymore and contacted me to see if I wanted her bass rig. YEAH!!!!! Now have her Reidmar 250 and another BBII cab which are in as new condition. I remember using that amp at the band's rehearsal band and was really impressed with the quality of the sound, so I'm really glad to have it.
  3. I had the stereo and sold it. Regretted it and bought the mono. It really is the Swiss Army knife of amp world. I’ve got a Markbass Evo 1 to try out at the moment which basically, has the Multiamp amps and effects but has two independent channels, which is exactly what I need. I think it’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time 😁
  4. I see they sell Sandberg now, must pay a visit sometime. Thanks.
  5. Boss CE5 and the MXR black label chorus is my go to ( the MXR analog chorus is the same pedal, but without the Zakk related art)
  6. Well the SL TT might end up for sale, great bass that it is I think this new Lionel will fit better for me.
  7. The G string Spirocore Mittel seems harsh sounding to me. Is there a recommended replacement….obviously with similar tension and volume?
  8. Also the Harris pre might fit here.

    NBD Bongo 4

EBMM hired a creative design consultancy called DreamWorks to help design the Bongo. DreamWorks are owned by BMW and part of their design team.
  10. You're building up quite a nice collection of lightweight Sandbergs now. Dave
  11. I have Dave, fingers crossed the Superlight Lionel when it lands will be even less than 6lbs.
  12. Bury me in smoke - Down
  13. That's nice @Lozz196 Must admit i like blocks on the fretboards especially the old sunburst Jazz basses. Have you still got an order in for one. ? Dave
  14. I still use mine, 20 years old. Find it really useful with upright live sound reinforcement. jonny
  15. Having a bit of a clear out so up for sale here is my Epiphone Dot. This is one of the good ones that was made in the Peerless factory (in 2003 according to the serial number). I've owned it for most of its life and only ever played it at home, its in good condition with a few small dents but nothing that would pick up on camera - other than the blooming on the headstock. This is under the finish and hasn't got any worse in the 20 years I've owned it. Other than the headstock, its a thing of beauty but sadly not getting played much recently so time to move it on. Comes with a hardcase but I'm not really keen on posting it so collection/meet-up would be preferred. If you wanted to arrange your own courier and insurance then I could maybe find some cardboard to wrap it in, but would rather not take the risk to be honest.

  16. Having a bit of a clear out so up for sale here is my Squier Classic Vibe 60s Stratocaster. This has only every been played at home and so is in fantastic condition, not a mark on it. Not a lot more to say really, looks like a strat, sounds like a strat, plays like a strat! I don't have a case for this so collection/meet-up is the only option. I live in Nottingham but happy to travel an hour or two if that helps.

  17. I have that very same Banjo, and those very same books! I'm also at a similar stage of development.
  18. Indeed, the pickup wire is going to the volume, but at the wrong place... I think you don't understand a wiring diagram as you didn't follow it at all. The position, place and direction of each connector is mandatory.
  19. Black Lung - Rancid
  20. The Roland HP-508 and the FP-30 share the same keybed, known as PHA-4, and the same sound generator (SuperNatural Piano), so basically it's the same keyboard.
  21. Liver let die - Paul McCartney and Wings
  22. Nice, I have a black fretted one with the Retrovibe preamp and a Seymour Duncan pickup, I like it and gigged it a lot but nothing sounds as good as those USA sub's! I have bitten the bullet and brought a rare white one which has already had the neck stripped of paint, I am going to get that converted to a fretless if I can find someone to put a new board on it or do a really nice defret if they can make it look pretty much unlined and with the dots hidden, I am sure I will find a luthier who can do it.

  24. Price drop to £650. A lot of amp for the money.
