  1. Past hour
  2. Would likely take an interesting swap for this. I was hoping to use the money towards a short scale ACG, but also in the market for a Jazz, preferably a Flea signature in pink if there's any going round. Send me a PM, always up for a chat!
  3. Toltec for sure. Picked up a Vintage Red P for £30, brand new. Handwired in UK.
  4. I've got one already, otherwise... so, free bump. GLWTS!
  5. In at the deep end will get you ready far quicker than rehearsals. You soon learn not to make mistakes and put more effort in at home. That's been my experience over the years. You now have the first gig under your belt so polish up on the set and get out there and just enjoy it. All the very best for 2026. Dave

    Nice!
  7. I’ve always wanted one of these! Unfortunately having a grandmother and minitaur , means that I’ll have to pass . Have a bump anyway ! GLWTS
  8. Beautiful! So tempting!
  9. Who do you thinnk you are? Schrödinger?
  10. Onwards and upwards!
  11. I tried one (not sure brand) at a bass bash and it didn't suit my style at all. Felt disappointed ... nothing to do with quality or setup, just felt too 'electric guitary' to my fat fingers.
  12. Set of rack mount bars for a GK RB amp. I haven’t owned a GK amp for several years but they would have come off of either a 1001RB II or a 700RB III as I owned both. The bars are complete with all parts including screws. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.

Did a bass swap before the New Year and picked up this Aria SB 1000B re-issue. Always wanted one and was a little scared about picking up one of the older ones reading so much about them having pick up problems. This one is a joy to play, love the ebony board and the low pass filtery type pre-amp. having the 2 octave neck is also nice. Weights in a fairly comfortable 4.4kg. Hopefully I can get to use it in anger... Got practice next week, think I'll take it along. Anyone else out there got one of these?
  15. Wash Wash — Prince Buster
  16. How much lighter are these? I'm considering a set for my Jap 62 reissue Jazz (assuming they'll fit).
  17. I should be in a position to purchase my dream bass this year ( well nothing more than £3k if I can help it !). But what ?? Custom ? Well letts just say I’d rather avoid the uncertainty ! The ‘dream bass’ I used to think of was something like a status s2 in a lovely glossy colour , or old Steinberger trans term , or a Kubricki ex factor in a lairy colour . It seems like I’ve missed the boat on Sims custom paint job for my table top style Warwick corvette . I did think of having an animal shaped bass guitar body such as a dog , cat or rabbit 😬 I like the Warwick dolphin .. a headless style would be the one I think ..glossy airbrushed in the style of a polar bear ! As for electronics , just a passive volume bass and tone knob is enough ! No batteries ! I do have 2 basses that friends and punters used to love ..a Korean made Jack Daniel’s bass ,and a Washburn status . For some reason people were fascinated by them .
  18. Does that mean you're in an' a'? Or are you just staying in the public gallery?

  20. Roland PF10 digital piano in immaculate condition and in good working order with extras. Includes. - Roland PF10 digital piano with power supply: Full sized 88 key digital piano with weighted keys, onboard piano voices and effects. - Roland wooden stand (the one the piano is mounted on in the pics). - Foot pedal. - Piano stool (the one in the pics). - Padded carry case (not in pics but allows for detaching the piano from the wooden stand and transporting to gigs etc). - Additional collapsable stand (not in pics but allows the piano to be transported and used for gigs etc). I bought it all this time last year with the intention of learning to play but life has since taken over. So grab yourself a bargain. Collection only. I live approximately 15 minutes from junctions 14 and 15 of the M1. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.

  22. The Cat of Amontillado
  23. After a whole year with no gigs and auditioning for nine bands, joining six, only to quit four of them, I started 2026 with a gig! New years day at Tynemouth squash club. My new brit pop project Rewind played our first gig to sadly mixed reviews, we knew we weren't at gigging level but the club had been let down by another band and 3/4 of the band (not me, I'm fat) are members so we were drafted. Some major blunders (me shouting chords at the guitarist during a disastrous 'I predict a riot' was a highlight) but overall I'm not too beaten up about it. We knew we weren't really ready and there were more good moments than bad, there's definitely the bones of a good band there. Rig: G&L tribute sb2, shure wireless, quad cortex, pair of qsc k12.2. Hpf: 130hz Shoes: hiking boots Rating: 4/10.
  24. The noise’ll stop eventually, just give it time
